The story has some pretty good depth and character interactions. You should play the 1st, and when you get to the end of chapter 2, you'll get the idea of how awesome the cliffhanger was. Plus, you'll understand the conversations in chapter 2 better and know why they said certain things about chapter 1. Just a suggestion to get the most from this story.

to be honest, My Sweet Neighbors (a game I really love) is my go to for how I find animations useless. I like every single render in that game is better and sexier than the animations. DmD would be 2nd place on that list. Oddly, a mediocrely rendered game My Sister Mia on RPGM is the one where I love the animations the most. Maybe cause so much of the game is the ugly ass RPGM environment so I just appreciate anything with Mia's big tits and delightful resting bitch face on screen, but I think also, cause it's zoomed out so you see most of her body. Mr Dots and many others zoom in way too close on just the body parts involved during animations.
When it comes to sound I have no examples of them being good, but the horror story is another one of my favorite games (maybe the only that can compete with DmD), A wife and mother where you have shit like five unskippble seconds of a car driving away.

Yeah, in shooters I use sound, that's for sure. And agreed on animations, it's the fact they take so much time for so little return that bugs me.I agree completely. I have the sound turned off 99% of the time. Especially with porn games, but also with AAA "normal" games, except shooters etc where you need to hear someone sneaking up on you.
I guess animations do add something, but given the time they seem to take, I think it's not worth it.
More time on picture renders and writing also means more story progression!

Thanks, lynx. I’ll take a look at Sister Mia this weekend. I kind of remember liking the DoD animations but have not played it in a long time. I let MDots know about my opinion on animations. If you go over to the Melody game, for example, MC has sex with Isabella in week 1. The animation of her astride him shot from the rear I think works. The shot where she is in doggie I think doesn’t. I also see your point of less closeups and more full shots.

I'm having trouble with Chapter 2.
At random moments the game will close itself without any warning. I couldn't even save my progress I've made into the Chapter (First Playthough btw). The first time it closed was during the scene at the beginning of the game (talking with Jennifer in the café), I pushed the "hug button" and then it closed/crashed (IDK) on me. The second time it closed was when I was back at my apartment 'thinking about the stew I had with my daughter.' Than the game closed itself just like in the café a few seconds ago (currently where my save point is).
Is there something I could do to fix these random problems, so they can stop happening? I've never had Chapter 1 close on me once. Also, could it be the downloaded link I've used? (MEGA - PC Version).

Man this MC is an insufferable ass towards the end of CH1! He does something to D like touches her thigh, she then does it back and his first thought is to have a panic attack and think "Oh no this has gone too far", this is what you wanted you dumb fk, enjoy it cause it's not like you haven't spent the past 10 days grooming her to do this. And the amount of groping that he does to D, every 2 minutes he wants to grab her boobs even in situations where it's unnecessary, i can't believe that an 18 year old girl however sheltered wouldn't turn round and be like "Yo calm your tits with the touching, it's getting a bit too much". The dudes so manipulative, and some of the things he says make him sound like a horny teenager trying to get his dick wet for the first time. He talks to and treats Elena like an adult but his daughter like a child.

this time i ported ch1 and ch2 to achieve import functionality from ch1 to ch2, downloadsize for both is ~2,7gb
it works like the win version, get to the end of ch1, open ch2 and import your last ch1 playthrough, save your game in ch2 and you're good to do it again for another path in ch1
you have just to close ch2 and start again in ch1 with reaching the end.. you get a hang of it
it works here fine but a little test can not hurt

Having seen your work with other games like Big Brother, and given that Chapter 1 is complete, would you mind working your magic to reduce the size of the game? Pretty as it is, over 3GB is a bit much, and I'm interested to see how low you can get it without compromising the quality too much.
