VN - Others - Completed - Daughter for Dessert [Ch. 19] [Palmer/Love-Joint]

After playing through the chapters again and trying out different things I'm disappointed to learn that most options don't really change the story at all and apart from a couple of things most of them result in the exact same outcome but one or two sentences are changed. The only real "choices" you are given are to see a sex scene or not see a sex scene (and sadly there are no options for the player to participate in the sex scene apart from where to cum). I'd ask why they bother but then the answer is to give the illusion of agency instead of having actual agency.
Apart from no choices that actually matter the writing is quite good. The character models are hot too but the renders aren't great and the sex scenes are functional but lackluster. The voice acting is, again, functional but not great.
Certainly not a bad game but highly overrated.

man i remember playing this a while ago on a website called gamecore. from i remember i thoroughly enjoyed this vn each episode i finished made me wish there was more. i was always dreading finishing the last episode and having to wait for a new one because i was really into the story. i don't like to waste my time playing games or doing things that might not be worth it. but i guarantee, you wont be disappointed but then again everyone has there own things they like and dislike well i very much like this. Go on give this vn a try if you like it great if not then i guess its not for you.

Its a really well designed game..the characters are well fleshed out...and everything erotic in the game is believable and is well supported by the story and character designs. Its one of my favorites...also there is some diversity and variety in models to some extent which is appreciated, its annoying when there are games which have models that have unrealistic, exaggerated, off putting(for me) body proportions in almost all the character models...realistic variety just makes a game more enriching.

Wasn't super into it when it started out, mostly because the "erotic fiction" plot seemed a little convoluted compared to the simple, slice-of-life styling of the rest of the game. Also felt like the sudden jump into a sexual relationship with the daughter was a bit jarring and a little too enthusiastic. However, the continued progression feels like it understands both complaints and is constantly improving, and I have to say while I wasn't convinced of the relationship between the MC and the daughter at first, the currently (as of Chapter 14) tense and awkward relationship genuinely makes me feel the same confusion and turmoil yearning for the previously passionate romance as the MC, which is good. The dialogue is pretty solid but I don't put too much thought about the fact that it's voice acted (i turn it off willingly). Making it this far in means I obviously have a lot of investment into the twists the story is taking and I really look forward to updates.

Really like the story and the effort put into this game. Probably one of the better adult visual novel games out there, especially with the voice acting added to it. Wish these kinds of games were made more often by women though.

This is an excellently written title. The characters seem so real and fleshed out and I'm only on Chapter 3. The story feels fairly linear early on, but on subsequent playthroughs and in later chapters, things really do change depending on how you play the characters.

The renders are gorgeous and the facial expressions and posture are excellently suited for the things people say. The dev has a done a really good job of capturing both their personality and their moods with the renders.

It definitely has a slower burn than most stories, so if you're expecting sex in the first chapter, look for another title. If the narrative were more poorly written, I'd be impatient, but the story is so well fleshed out that I'm happy as a kitten with the slower burn. There are also some laugh out loud lines and funny interactions in this story too.

This is such an amazing game. From the story to the images.

If I had one nitpick is that I wish the entire game was voice acted instead of half of it being behind a Patreon wall.

Other than that, it is incredible and makes me wish that I was the MC so I could be the one getting with all these girls (ESPECIALLY the daughter, because.....DAMN. She is SO FINE!!!!!)

Can't wait to see some more of this and where it is all heading.

This is just simply a terrific game with a number of different female options for the MC. Great graphics and interesting characters. Storyline has a enough twists and decisions to make it interesting. Definitely need to make a lot of saves and keep track of your choices as they have consequences later in the story.

First with each progressive chapter the story gets more dramatic. Less sex. Would be okay except the story isn't even good. mediocre at best. The controls are bad. I hate the skip mechanism goes to the next choice and cannot be undone mid skip. Most sex scenes are okay. Updates are becoming more sparse as palmer cracks his whip.

This is easily one of the best western VNs, there's very little to not like about it. The writing is a lot better than most other Patreon-fare, with a great mix of chuckleworthy humor, hot, and serious moments. The characters are mostly extremely likeable as well. Their renders are a cut above pretty much everything in the genre, both when it comes to expresiveness and originality. I can see how the character voices could annoy some people. I think they are decent and definitely fits. The sex scene noises are great, and I believe they add a lot of spice. I don't usually even like VNs, but I love this one.

ART 9/10
One of the good ones. Scenes are mostly still pictures but really good. Transitions are clear and with good details.

CHARACTER MODELS 10/10 (specially "K")
Boy oh boy. The character models are really well done. Every girl is a bias wrecker. The characters' distinct quality are on point. But "K" really caught my interest in the whole game.

STORY/CONTENT 9/10
A good roller coaster of events. It has its highs and lows but every chapter has a good surprise to it. You will see the word toaster most of the time in the game though. hehe. But 12 chapters in and the ????? is still unclear. We need to have and idea. Well better play the game more to see it.

I've only played 8 chapters so far, but the game is great.
The dialog is great, voice acting is a nice bonus, and the story actually holds.
Solid writing over all, and especially the naughty scenes have great dialog/thought bubbles. (By FAR the best descriptions to set the naughty scenes, of all the porn games ive played)
I REALLY wish this game was a normal Renpy game with some better renders tho, and some animations.
Everything else is so good, that its worth playing anyway.
BUT with Renpy engine, and better renders, and some animations, this game would have legendary status.
It would by far be the best game out there.
Cos current renders are very simple, and all the girls have their set poses that are just used over and over. Sex scenes have 2-5 pictures. Not much else.

I've really enjoyed the releases for DfD. The story-line is solid. I really feel connected to the experiences that the characters are going through at the diner. The author adds just enough intrigue to keep you interested. There was one bit that was, to me, just a throw in: the driving game in Ch. 9? I think. But apart from that this is an awesome VN.

I recently have revisited this game to see where it is going and OH MY GOD that game definitely didn't let me down. The artwork Excellent, the Characters pretty realistic even from an actual video game character. the Story .....Boy, where do I BEGIN with this, for starters, it has an excellent setup, it plays with people's anticipation in such a way it is not becoming boring and lastly is enjoyable till the very end without taking away from the experience it creates.

I enjoy games with good material but it is the first time ever I found a game like this.

I definitely recommend it even if you are not into that kind of stuff just for the story( which thus far has left me speechless and totally excited).

I rarely play such games for the story but this one definitely surprised me. I'm not gonna pretend and call it original but it was interesting enough to keep me invested. The characters are well-defined and actually feel like human beings. The writing is good. I'd actually recommend playing it with voice acting on even if that's not your sort of thing. It feels pretty natural and adds the sense of immersion. The interface is very clean, responsive and easy to navigate. One thing to look out for, though, is the pacing. It's pretty slow so don't expect to quickly rub one out and be done with it. Although, for me, it wasn't a drawback in any shape or form. On the contrary, it felt very natural and down-to-earth, just like in real life.

I can't help but compare it with Dating My Daughter since both of these games have a similar premise and episodic structure. Although I greatly enjoyed DMD, I like this one better. It has better renders, characters, story and writing in general. Just don't be put off by the pacing. Stick around and you'll be rewarded greatly.

Overall, a solid game, very well-made. Feel free to recommend it to your friends, parents, brothers, and sisters if they're into that stuff. And, as always, masturbate responsibly and take care.

It's a touch slow paced, and as someone who was playing when it was at like ep5, it was frustrating. But it's good like, really good. The writing feels immersive, the character models are good. There's a couple scenes during sex where the bodies seem to have odd proportions or contort in strange ways, but it's not a lot of them. I'd say the worst part of this game is the unskippable (and bad) cumshots.

nice renders, and good story, love the animation. only missing some kind of statbuilding, so i can see ex. the lust or love and so on of the charactors. now waiting to get the final episodes 9-10 ass free so can continue story.

This game has some negatives, but plenty of positives as well. To start, I would like to note that the game improves quite a bit in the more recent chapters. So if you don't mind waiting it out, it may be worth a shot to you. It is pretty short so far anyway.

The artwork/models are well done, but my issue here is that they are overused. There is very little variance in the artwork. As the game goes on, it does (eventually) seem to begin to try and remedy this issue. Also, as a note, some of the transitions annoyed me.

You don't really have any power in this game as it is quite linear. Most choices/options have no real effect on the storyline (just some minor dialogue stuff and some lewd scenes on/off), but this could change in the future. This isn't a huge negative, as it is a visual novel. However, it feels like nothing is really happening a lot of the time as the progression/pacing is very slow; so, without any real power in-game, the story starts to feel quite empty. I'm not huge fan of mini-games, but they do help to break things up a bit and create a reprieve at times. It almost feels as if the first five chapters are the introduction. Chapters 6 and 7 start to really get things moving, so I was pleased with that. I have high hopes that things will begin/continue to get interesting very soon.

My biggest positive for this VN is the writing (dialogue, specifically). I found it to be quite clever, silly, and even funny at times. It feels very believable in many respects, which is often difficult to achieve in an erotic VN/game. The writing gets my highest praise.

In the end, I was slightly annoyed while going through the first five or so chapters, but eventually it started to suck me in. I have high hopes that it will continue to improve, and hope that I can come back and raise my review rating in the future.
