Hmm, just finished episode 1 and want to start episode 2.
It seems episode 2 is absolutely standalone - no information from episode 1 is transfered to episode 2.

Is that a correct assumption?

If so: what are the gained points in episode 1 good for? They don't seems to have an effect in episode 1 and are lost for future episodes :confused:

Every episode is standalone. The points don't do anything.

Short question: When I download Episode 4... is it complete (with ep 1-3 as standalone) or is ist only ep 4? Thanks for the answer.

Building a custom engine while also writing a story and rendering images seems like a recipe for major delays and/or substandard product. Based on the first 3 Eps, the writing and engine are substandard, and the images are quite good. The story itself is really compelling, but the writing is f-ing nuts.

If I were being cynical, I would think this entire thing is a troll to see if a game could be released while only including one sentence from each written paragraph, and then randomly skipping paragraphs.

Not all people have the training to write and sometimes they write anyway. Writing is a skill. I can sort of see the shape of the story and it's interesting and different. Even though it has sex I'm not sure it's super well suited to be a porno.

This is the great weakness and strength of having no gatekeepers for culture anymore.

Still no technical updates on earlier episodes I suppose? Or an ETA in an integrated game instead of the disemboweled mess we have?

finished it now, overall it was very nice and intriguing but...all the options not carrying over in the next episodes is lame and kills alot of the feeling
....and more damn save slots :D

played the first eps, cant save the game, wrong choice = game over. Wow just like dark souls! is it supposed to be like that?

despite the gorgeous renders I've given up on this game.

- weird, nonsensical plot with useless MC
- no save system
- points don't carry over to next episode so what you do doesn't matter; but if you want to see stuff differently you might need to start over
- lack of plot continuity - wtf happened in between episodes?

anyway if episode 5 ever ends up releasing and is decent I may play through again.
