You'll be happy to know that I've already changed the cheat, as well as added a World Map option to both the kitchen and the bedroom (while avoiding most of the sequence breaks, I'm hoping). I'll try to get the option to disable save names done tonight and push out a patched version tomorrow! Thanks for trying the game!

Version 9.5.1 is live, housing several Quality of Life changes! Thanks to paxogre on the F95 forums for his assistance in making some of these changes!

I'm not in charge of this forum, so I'll just leave them here for now :p

Patch Notes:
  • Increased the "Add Personal Solas" cheat from 1000 to 10000
  • Added a World Map option to the kitchen and bedroom (and hopefully prevented any potential softlocks)
  • Properly integrated Itch.io link (Credits to paxogre on the F95 forums!)
  • Readjusted credits menu to better display links (Credits to paxogre on the F95 forums!)
  • Added Toggles for the Quick Menu and Custom Save Names, accessible in the Options Menu (Credits to paxogre on the F95 forums!)

Hey! The mind control in this game is more of a mental influence, rather than full on control (so it's NOT something like standard hypnosis). It more speeds up a character's affinity towards you, rather than forcing them under your control immediately. I hope that answers your question!

So does it have a real "presence" in the game, or is it just an excuse to further along the more generic stuff? That's one of my biggest issues with mind control in these games, on both ends of the extremes. Games with instant domination that only exists to let you skip to a generic porn scene with no development, or games where the protagonist arbitrarily has some "charm" that's just a handwave explanation for why he's so popular with the ladies. I'm always looking for a game that actually focuses on showing how your influence affects the characters, and I'm never sure if people who say "it's not the instant-sex version" are referring to that, or simply saying it's irrelevant altogether.

It's definitely in the camp of showing "how" the influence affects the characters, with a major part of the first chapter exploring how different people react to it.

Also, you can call Haley when you reach the "Downtown" area in the Light-World.

Nevermind, found the error and hotfixed it. Check the Patreon, Itchio, etc for what is hopefully the solution to your error. Please let me know if anything else comes up!

It's kinda fixed and kinda not. There is no visible error now but on older saves choker is stuck in inventory forever.
I looked into it and found out that there's a problem in the inventory system (in ui_screen_inventory.rpy).
inventory.items.remove(item) wouldn't work after saving and loading.
So I googled a bit and found this:

Then I tried to add __eq__ to InventoryItem and it worked! Item was removed from the inventory without errors even after saving and reloading.

I haven't played far, but one thing that really confused me right right at the start - two lines from the intro, before the story actually happens:

- "Before we begin we should discuss something very important:"
- "Red."

Is it supposed to be like that? Cuz maybe I'm just tired or something, but that is very confusing to me... like something else was supposed to be said... in fact that's where I expected the usual "Are you 18+ where you live?" standard question to happen... instead I just get "Red." :confused::unsure:
