Nevermind... on Mac what you have to do is right click and click on "show contents" or what ever it is. then keep opening all the way to the last folder where you see the .rpa file. Then put the patch into game folder. Might have to copy and paste the patch. Do not make or use a shortcut.
This works for both patches.
If you just extract it, it won't do anything. it is just a box with a prohibited sign on it.

make sure u put in %appdata% , if u put in directly game folder it wont work

I played this one a while back and i was okay with it until the whole scifi thing kicked in and that kind of spoiled it for me.
This was interesting but felt a little off. Maybe it was just the scifi part. Worth a play though.

Trying to get game running on joiplay, but it always crashes back to joiplay homescreen with games menu after trying to load the game for 1-2 seconds.
Is there certain settings that will help it run? Or do I need a patch if some kind?
Atm, I'm out of data, so it took me like 12 hrs to download this 4gb beast. and, at this point, I would really prefer get this working than spend all my bandwidth trying to download another game with such slow internet.

What year you live in? 4GB takes about 35-40 seconds for me.
I heard many games don't support joiplay. I never tried it myself, just what I heard.

Then you are very lucky. But not everbody in the world is it. I myself can calculate about between one and one and a half hours for that. It really is quite a lot of data.
