Darth Smut is the antithesis of what a game creator should be. I follow a good many games here, and on discord. The other games, and game makers, make one version of the game. They don't have 6 different versions, and keep free people from enjoying anything other than a limited section. They give their patreons first crack at the game, tier by tier. And finally us free people. Sometimes it's about 3 weeks from release to patreons to us free players, depending on the game author. Some times it's longer, because of RL stuff, or problems that have come up. Sometimes the time frame is shorter. All depends on the author. Darth Smut wanted to keep everyone on different pages. What would have made this game great is not a tiered version release, but a single version that is tiered release. And keep in content for everyone, and keep Patreon out of the game, except as an intro, or something. If I had the means to, there are any number of people I would support over Darth Smut, just because they make good games, and keep the game versions the same, across the board.
