Lol I found this on their website years and years ago when it first came out and now that I'm rediscovering it I see the latest update finishes the second dungeon. Can't say I'm filled with confidence.

Grammar aside, they've laid off members of their team working on this. Their recent blog posts about this.
That being said this is literally the worst working conditions for anyone right now with Covid still going around and quarantines/lockdowns.

What kind of working conditions would Covid be able to affect their workflow with? Unless they've been having personal group meetings in person and for some reason require it, why would Covid slow them down? Don't crowd funded porn devs generally communicate and handle everything over the internet?

NBV Never really thought about that. I see less work being done if you're in the comfort of your home so I made the assumption that the developers would be meeting at an office of some sort. My mistake.
zarqupang That's fine. I just couldn't really understand what you meant to say. I think the developers have been holding onto the next scene for the Beta3 build for a while now. I agree that the team is lost at this point and supporters of this game are beginning to show a bit of doubt that it will be finished at all.
That being said I think we can all agree that we want to see this game at least being worked on consistently. It's a case of "we finish it when we finish it" and that isn't great for any game development. This predicament is giving me PTSD of Malise and the Machine moving to Pure Onyx.

by the way i was not tring to get any one upset about what i said about my grammer i was just leting people now. i still keep this game just for the hot sex scene's i also now it will probly not come back anless the dev's want to work on it. but i think they would rather work on the side scoll shooter one lol. that's just me tho lol could be wrong tho

Newstime!
Hello everyone!
We are fully back now!
For those who don't know what I'm talking about:
We were moving appartments, so lots of time got put into that which is why we weren't as active in june as we would have wanted to.
But aside from needing to unpack a couple more boxes we are fully set in the new appartment now, with internet connection active and all.
(Getting internet set up in a new appartment can take up to 3 weeks here, so good thing it went rather quickly.)
I'm quite glad that we didn't end up homeless, which was a possibility.
We needed to move places because our old appartments contract was terminated, so we were forced to look for a new place which was darn hard due to the whole corona sitiation. We didn't had any luck for months, either no replies at all or we got declined before we even had a chance to look at a place.
Being self employed isn't exactly well looked upon here where Wolfenstahl and I live, most people here think it might as well count as unemployed, so that made finding a new place even harder.
At any rate, we are at our new appartment now so we can focus on working propperly again.
And that's all I wanted to say for now :3

If that's true, the whole apartment thing, it would make sense. Giving this the benefit of the doubt. But if they don't post any updates to the game by next month, it would be safe to say that this game is dead.
Hello everyone!
Here's a new progress report for Deathblight RPG.
As you can see, Cres already worked on the graphics for Esmoda.
The Catheline job will still need more time before it's implemented, but we're already making progress on the subsequent update, so rest assured that work is being done.
In case you haven't read our last couple updates, since we (Cres and Wolf) are the only two remaining on the team and we have to take care of all the responsibilities left to us by the team members that have left the team, we need to work all of that into our own work schedules, and that's quite tough.
(those who know us are aware that we always keep our plate full and never idle, so having that extra workload from other former team members on top of that is a problem for us)
Our sincerest apologies for the delays.
We're on it and tackling this one problem at a time.
Anyways, in the picture above you can see two new graphics for Esmoda, so as you can see, progress is still being made.

Thanks for the Update. But let's face it, there won't be an update for the RPG this year and the (imho promising) Guilty Raid Game will never be finished.

Prime example of someone complaining about development time but probably don't care to sub. Either that or they ARE subbed and they don't understand that projects can have huge setbacks like, oh, I dunno, losing your entire programming team?
That aside give this game time, they're literally two people right now and they're working on what they can.
Wait that's a new character? Thought it was just a recolored Ferania with different clothes and hair.
I feel like they've completely lost focus, having let content creep get the better of them. Especially given their current situation as they tell it. For every new character they add, they're either going to have to duplicate the content for each mob/boss, or lock more of the existing characters out of different scenarios, probably some of both. With four playable characters already, there's plenty enough to work with there without having to resort to that.
Or the additional effort that could've gone instead toward actual sex scenes and battle sprites - latter of which is the most lacking part of the game imo. Visually I don't think this character is unique enough to make any of that extra effort worthwhile
That said Crescentia is very prolific with her work, maybe she can keep up to it and it's more a matter of implementation.
I think the best game they put out was Paperheads. If they eventually finish or abandon this game and/or Guilty Raid, I'd love for them to return to its style... and expedient development.
If nothing else I think they'd benefit most from splitting their Patreon/crowdfunding across projects. At least then people would be able to vote with their wallets.
