well i just wish the game i started playing this on here the rpg one with all the girls and the picking the skill's to use was worked on more. but seem's to me there comic book is more inportent to them and there using the money this game made to do it. i like this game but the dev snowballing people for his comic is fucked up.
To be fair the comic is how they started, but the fact that they stopped the comic to focus on games and made not a single inch of progress is the thing that is fucked. They focused on their other game (Guilty Raid) and didn't make it nor continued making this one. Out of 6 games they started and seemed promising only 1 was ever completed - Dark Elf Alley or something along those lines. That track record is really bad and made me as a long time patron just say fuck it all I am out.

I just realised, that subscribestar doesn't take Paypal and only credit card.

Yeah, I don't have a problem putting some money towards a completed game but unfortunately for them, I'm never gonna pledge money towards the idea of a product.
It's too bad as Cres' art is really nice and they tend to involve the kind of themes I enjoy, but I refuse to be lead around by the nose.
Well, yeah. Paypal is one of the main pushes against the various adult content on patreon.
I apologize if this comes off as political or adjacent to politics, but how the hell did these people think they could get away with saying their game was a 'Survivor story'? I don't have a problem with games like this one and I'm not the sort of person who is obsessed with sex issues on the internet, but calling this game a survivor story is as stupid as calling Fortnite a serious thesis on war and PTSD.
Well, the key thing is that survivor stories are not meant to be sexually gratifying. No one in their right mind would be convinced that this game wasn't made with that intent.

Ok what the fuck does this mean? The only funding method they had publicized was the patreon, and seeing as they never made a separate page just for the game, I assume people donated for the game alone, at least those who came to know of DB through its game.
How the hell can they say that there was a lack of funding when they've been getting 3000-4000 euro per month

I assume that they were simply trying to shield themselves with that banner in order to skirt patreon regulations. Not gonna blame them, but I guess their 'grey area' excuse didn't pan out

You are not the only person to think that. As soon as I read that I almost laughed out loud. Dude you are not the first nor the last person that makes that kinda content. Own up to it rather than trying to justify it with the most harebrained excuse I have ever seen.

Regardless of the mistakes Crescentia made, I need to say something first. Fuck Paypal. They are the main payment company that is behind the decisions Patreon has had to make regarding Adult content. When people think of companies that are pro-censorship, most people do not think of Paypal, but they are pro-censorship when it comes to a variety of things. The most impacting to this forum is, of course their pressure on adult content or anything in close proximity.
Now I'm not saying Patreon is without blame for any mistakes they've made as they have definitely made their own fair share, nor am I trying to remove blame from Crescentia, but seriously, fuck Paypal.
And onto Cresentia . . . oof. This sucks. I was already losing hope for this game as I literally did not care at all for the 'jobs' mini-game and all I wanted was more of the base gameplay. Was it really that hard? I didn't need new characters either, but nope, lets bloat the breadth of the game so much that progress slows down to snail speed. I hope this game gets picked back up as I do like it better than the rest of their games, but . . . I might grow old and die before that happens. Or 2020 could get us with a meteorite =/

Crescentia's art is really great tbh I love her style and it makes it such a disappointment that these projects keep getting messed up and abandoned. Combined with the themes that they go for Wolf and Cres have a combination of good ideas but when it goes into practice they rarely are able to bring it to fruition. Make me sad ngl.
Also don't know why they would be looking to venture into sfw comics. I mean I'm not gonna say it can't be done well (see Merryweather) but it isn't really what their fanbase came for and is just another thing they are putting effort into.

the artist does great work. i think the artist talent is going to waste on this dev the artist can do better.
Meh, Worth a shot as far as I can tell. I mean Claire's Quest gets away with worse and they don't have to explain themselves. It looks kinda random. This is why no one should support anyone on patreon. It's just too much of a risk for everyone involved. Creators get booted or neutered and the rest of us lose money because of it. Hell, even for Patreon! They just lost their motion to dismiss the arbitration so they're gonna be losing alot of money paying for that.
Friends don't let friends use Patreon.
As of this post it's at 56 sub with $641 per month. So it's been about three days and it seem that they've nearly quintupled their income. They might do fine. I didn't even know they had a SS. They have yet to update the links on their blogspot or their pinned tweet. Fortunately I didn't have to scroll down to far on their timeline to find a link.
Their should probably update their stuff. Some of us will be out of the loop because we don't use cancer-website.
