Trying to follow the directions here and download some mods. Seems pretty simple but I am getting Image 'original_bots agmx_9 avatar' not found, and Image 'original_bots agmx_10 avatar' not found. for both my bots I have in my saved game.

I downloaded two mods, dragon and polip to this location...
game
- mods
-- dragon
-- polip

What am I doing wrong?

That's kinda strange, as neither Dragon nor Polip mod are supposed to alter the original bots, at least for the older version I had downloaded...

Can you check all the JSON mods in your "mods" folder?
Check for those lines:
"asset_packs": [
("bots agmx_9","original_bots agmx_9"),
("bots agrx_10","original_bots agrx_10"),
("bots agptech","original_bots agptech"),
("bots akira","original_bots akira"),
("bots jkb_12","original_bots jkb_12"),

If a JSON indeed has those lines, check which JSON it is, and look also in your assets\images folder if there is a "original_bots" folder.

Edit: the path you tried to describe seems weird, also.
It should be:
game
- mods
-- dragon.json
-- polip.json
-- assets
--- images
---- dragon
---- polip

your edit part is semantics i think, if he has the .json files inside dragon and polip folders it should work at least it works for me.

If I remember right, Polip added those lines. You could delete those specific lines from the polip json and it will return the vanilla bots to vanilla images.

dragon adds the og bots but it should work and not give that error unless he doesn't have the bot folders but is still using dragon.json

Before downloading anything, all I had in my game/mods folder was 0050_base_content.zip and modding.txt

Now I have...
dragon
polip
0050_base_content.zip
modding.txt

I'm running DSCS-0.3.1-win

What's important is what is in those "dragon" and "polip" folders.
I redownloaded those 2 mods to make sure I have the same version as yours.
Polip is the culprit in your case. You have 2 options.

- Either you delete the lines in the polip.json file
("bots agmx_9","original_bots agmx_9"),
("bots agrx_10","original_bots agrx_10"),
("bots agptech","original_bots agptech"),
("bots akira","original_bots akira"),
("bots jkb_12","original_bots jkb_12"),

- Or you can also download the "Original/Old/Alt real porn assets", and only extract the assets folder (no need of the json), into your polip folder.

To explain the problem, the polip mod modify the base game picture, but doesn't include in the assets the "new" pictures and video, so you have to get them from elsewhere.
As a side note, Mr_Shaky, you probably should add a note about this on your Mod post, so that other people don't get the same issue (at least until Polip edit his mod).

I am afraid of one of my JKB-12
She is pretty amazing.
A in combat
B in Electrical and Mechanical
S in sex
S in Social

My fear is she removes her own arm, beats me to death with it...and somehow convinces everyone that it was my fault.
Me "Babe I had to beat you to train you in combat, and I am sorry about all the times I fucked your skin off ok...babe?" Last words
Watch that core stability guys....

That is indeed the best price right now, however, it needs to be said that it only accepts bots of grade C and higher (parts don't influence bot grade.) So any bot of C rank is virtually worth 250k, with the only real need is to train combat to a C rating.

No need to do so, as some of those S class bots can show up as a find at the dump. Hence you get them with no investment. Its rare, i know, but it is possible to get A class bots regularly at the dump. I rarely buy bots at the flea-market due to them being excessively expensive compared to the sell value you can get for them.

That said, S and A rank bots (and B rank to some extent) do have a easier time to train up into useful helper bots (ie: Shopkeepers for passive income, Bed Bots for increased mood, Clerks and Techie's.), and are worth keeping instead of selling. You will never get its actual worth back if you sell some of those higher ranked ones.
I found a S Mechanical B electrical tec in the dump. The body was all trash, but yea they are there.
I tend to keep 4 bots in shop. Go to the dump. Get 2 more. Then tinker until all junk is fixed, then bots...THEN disasemble so my shop keep does not sell carbon limbs for $2 instead of $200 lol. My inventory is always 100% repaired unless I go to the junk yard(then just hit back a page and see everything not fixed like oh that V7 neuro my shop keep would sell for $5 because it was only 80%,and mark it not for sale :)

I thought of another useful feature that could be added:
Right now we can choose to have DNS on or off. I would like to be able to have it on and set a quality level threshold. I can't really play with it turned on because of the chance of my best parts being sold. It would be upsetting to have a NeuroTech v7 be sold when they are kind of hard to come by. This feature would still be of limited use because there are still only quality D eyes and quality D,E, & F skins, but when those parts have higher quality versions available, this feature will be quite useful for me.
the v7 are on the grey market for 12500 all the time. so not rare right now.

This is a surprisingly good time. By which I mean I expected it to be casually fun, but then I found myself really enjoying the gameplay loop. And there's so much potential. Even after the regular part hierarchy is complete, with parts from E to S for each category, there are also sidegrades - parts that are better for specific roles. Which lends itself to customising bots for specific roles above and beyond their intended role. Like making a JKB into an assassin with high combat and specialised limbs or the like.

Which then lends itself to different events, different buyers, different reasons to retain various bots for yourself. Having a bodyguard bot might be a good idea in the future, be it protection from rivals or megacorps, or getting shaken down by street gangs. A hacking/EW bot might be a thing to introduce. So much potential.

I think more variability in the market needs to be a thing though, different (randomised?) sellers and a range of prices for the same item. Make the world feel more organic.

Excellent work, again. I'm really looking forward to the future here.

Rad I was thinking another 'what if'.. being able to limit or raise repair_task chances per bot, based on mc rep or skill on that bot. Customers are more likely to bring you higher spec bots after you have higher skill with that model.

Im failing to understand this price multiplier in the grey market.
"bot_social": (2.0,"mul_exp3",0.1,3.0), - Changes reward value based on social skill, but what is that range?

Anyway, here's a couple more buyers for the grey market if anybody wants them. They will not appear until you cycle your day at least once. *Hint* I dropped a buyer in the junk section too.
Just tried your mod and was curious: Will the grey market collector only accept certain bots? I've got a couple of modded bots and one of the originals, but I can't seem to sell to them.

Yea, for now I limited that one to F and E bots. Kinda the low-level nerd guy. I was building more vendors along the idea that each vendor wanted a certain type of bot.. only C rank for this one, and a B-S tech for that one... that idea.

Ok, just wasn't sure if it was something I was missing. Actually, now knowing that, I can see that it's obvious in the JSON file.
