That's kinda strange, as neither Dragon nor Polip mod are supposed to alter the original bots, at least for the older version I had downloaded...Trying to follow the directions here and download some mods. Seems pretty simple but I am getting Image 'original_bots agmx_9 avatar' not found, and Image 'original_bots agmx_10 avatar' not found. for both my bots I have in my saved game.
I downloaded two mods, dragon and polip to this location...
game
- mods
-- dragon
-- polip
What am I doing wrong?
flea market 30kIs there a cap on how much the bot sell for?
your edit part is semantics i think, if he has the .json files inside dragon and polip folders it should work at least it works for me.That's kinda strange, as neither Dragon nor Polip mod are supposed to alter the original bots, at least for the older version I had downloaded...
Can you check all the JSON mods in your "mods" folder?
Check for those lines:
"asset_packs": [
("bots agmx_9","original_bots agmx_9"),
("bots agrx_10","original_bots agrx_10"),
("bots agptech","original_bots agptech"),
("bots akira","original_bots akira"),
("bots jkb_12","original_bots jkb_12"),
If a JSON indeed has those lines, check which JSON it is, and look also in your assets\images folder if there is a "original_bots" folder.
Edit: the path you tried to describe seems weird, also.
It should be:
game
- mods
-- dragon.json
-- polip.json
-- assets
--- images
---- dragon
---- polip
Oh? I thought the JSON files had to be at the root of the mods folder.your edit part is semantics i think, if he has the .json files inside dragon and polip folders it should work at least it works for me.
nope, they can be inside the mods own folder too, atleast thats how all my mods are setup currently.Oh? I thought the JSON files had to be at the root of the mods folder.
If I remember right, Polip added those lines. You could delete those specific lines from the polip json and it will return the vanilla bots to vanilla images. That's kinda strange, as neither Dragon nor Polip mod are supposed to alter the original bots, at least for the older version I had downloaded...

dragon adds the og bots but it should work and not give that error unless he doesn't have the bot folders but is still using dragon.jsonIf I remember right, Polip added those lines. You could delete those specific lines from the polip json and it will return the vanilla bots to vanilla images.
I found a S Mechanical B electrical tec in the dump. The body was all trash, but yea they are there. That is indeed the best price right now, however, it needs to be said that it only accepts bots of grade C and higher (parts don't influence bot grade.) So any bot of C rank is virtually worth 250k, with the only real need is to train combat to a C rating.
No need to do so, as some of those S class bots can show up as a find at the dump. Hence you get them with no investment. Its rare, i know, but it is possible to get A class bots regularly at the dump. I rarely buy bots at the flea-market due to them being excessively expensive compared to the sell value you can get for them.
That said, S and A rank bots (and B rank to some extent) do have a easier time to train up into useful helper bots (ie: Shopkeepers for passive income, Bed Bots for increased mood, Clerks and Techie's.), and are worth keeping instead of selling. You will never get its actual worth back if you sell some of those higher ranked ones.
the v7 are on the grey market for 12500 all the time. so not rare right now.I thought of another useful feature that could be added:
Right now we can choose to have DNS on or off. I would like to be able to have it on and set a quality level threshold. I can't really play with it turned on because of the chance of my best parts being sold. It would be upsetting to have a NeuroTech v7 be sold when they are kind of hard to come by. This feature would still be of limited use because there are still only quality D eyes and quality D,E, & F skins, but when those parts have higher quality versions available, this feature will be quite useful for me.
Ah that kinda sucks a bit but oh wellflea market 30k

Just tried your mod and was curious: Will the grey market collector only accept certain bots? I've got a couple of modded bots and one of the originals, but I can't seem to sell to them.Im failing to understand this price multiplier in the grey market.
"bot_social": (2.0,"mul_exp3",0.1,3.0), - Changes reward value based on social skill, but what is that range?
Anyway, here's a couple more buyers for the grey market if anybody wants them. They will not appear until you cycle your day at least once. *Hint* I dropped a buyer in the junk section too.
Yea, for now I limited that one to F and E bots. Kinda the low-level nerd guy. I was building more vendors along the idea that each vendor wanted a certain type of bot.. only C rank for this one, and a B-S tech for that one... that idea.Just tried your mod and was curious: Will the grey market collector only accept certain bots? Ok, just wasn't sure if it was something I was missing. Actually, now knowing that, I can see that it's obvious in the JSON file.Yea, for now I limited that one to F and E bots.
