Hes technically right, the Dark Path only revolves around Ellie. You cannot get Steph if you're with Ellie and viceversa.

I had made a save with the route of Lydia, after this choice in screen, when I select "evening alone", I arrive that the way of Elie in what I suppose that house because I did not make his route yet.

The Dark Path is centered around Ellie, everything on that path is only available if you pursue Ellie as main LI. Steph, Vanessa, Ellie (and probably Jenna) are the 4 main LIs, and you cannot get 2 LIs in 1 run. All the remaining girls are side characters that we can boink.
