I think White Phantom wrote here (or it was Patreon, but somebody posted it here), real reason why all kinkier scenes are exclusive to bimbo path is logistic. He doesn't have time nor resources to double each scene with bdsm gear (one for normal, and one for bimboified).
Regarding gold digging, it fits well in the story. MC is fancy London lawyer, lot of gold diggers are looking for such men. Regarding the fact that all LI's are kinky (almost all of them are in rough sex, one or another way), whoever played previous game of White Phantom would expect this. And, of course, all of them are easy to bed, this is a Porn Game, after all.

Lydia's behaviour at the end reads more like there's an almost reasonable explanation and 2. having the same character in a similar situation sort of just reads correct to me. Also if it's someone we're very familiar with, I don't think WP would have the main character be incapable of recognizing a voice for the sake of a dramatic cliffhanger that's going to be meaningless when the game is finished.

Yeah, Its really weird when MC gets surprised TWICE knowing about Ellie x Sam from Emma and Sam's dialogues, even though he read their messages and HER OWN MOTHER told him.
Or knowing about the hairbrush even though AGAIN her mother told him and she HERSELF told him in the night before.
Or (to a less extent) Lydia being surprised if MC gets naked and perv on her even though they already orally fuck each other.

About the "captive", I'm almost sure it's Eve (Charles's girlfriend/mistress)

About Lydia, well, she may not have killed Charles, but that doesn't mean she's a saint, she's already lied twice, just a theory but she could have been part of the "scheme" originally but became a loose end and was used as a scapegoat
