The game is called defending Lydia Collier and first opportinity the lawyer has to defend Lydia Collier he just stays silent and allows her client to be harrassed and probably coerced into a confession while he watches porn pictures. Im inclined to think that maybe as a lawyer is not good at all or the game should have another tittle.

Im feeling that the purpose of that scene was to show some pictures to the player, not to Lydia. I mean they show her a a close up of her sisters pussy. Whats the point? Its not even a beautful vagina , is default DAZ.
By the way The pictures were accessed ¿from where? ¿by whom? The detectives are trying to build motive there with very vague statements.

Also motive is kind of weak cause her exhusband pays for everything, including her sisters tuition, so its not money, and definetly not jealousy.

I stopped playing to write this little rant. I hope the game is not a series of elaborated and weak excuses to show lewd imagery.

I smell what you're cooking, and I agree that (using my experience) an American lawyer for an American client being interrogated in an American police precinct would have shut that interview down REAL fast, but this is set in London and I am not familiar enough with English law to say whether the lawyer was doing his job or not. Not gonna critisise the game its how the Dev must of thought it would make sence but no mate the lawer in that interagation was not doing his job or for that matter anybody elses job.

he would of more than likly of advised his client only to answere with no comment and sujesting if she isn't charged that she should be reliesed as soon as possible while politely suggesting the second office that was attempting to bully his client should be removed from said interview before official complaints are filed.

But thats just a laymans opinion would need a English Lawer to confirm of denigh it to know for sure.

Haha, seriously - I am honestly not here to judge but are you sure you're in the right forum and playing the right game? There should be plenty of games out there with decent plot and stories that don't involve female nudity, but you won't find many here.

[Edit] - if you are looking for a game with a really good story here in which the nudity is almost secondary to the telling, check out Kinderfeld's gem Now & Then in my signature. I think you might be impressed.

I don't know why, but no matter what you choose during Day 2 evening the TV tag is always set an you never workout during the morning of Day 3. I don't know enough about Renpy scripts to see where the problem is.

According to the dialog, if you browse your phone you set the alarm to wake you up early. The script says that only if you watch TV are you supposed to sleep in. But I think there is something missing so the TV variable is set even if you don't watch TV.

I don't think that this variable name should be taken that literally in this case. The dev just used - in my opinion - the same game variable from the TV watching also for the phone browsing, both leeds to " sleep in " in the morning. Only the "Just go to bed" leeds to the gym event.

The interviews with Lydia and Detective Sergeant Truman are ridiculous. The MC is Lydia's lawyer yet the entire time he allows Truman to repeatedly throw conjecture after conjecture at Lydia and literally says nothing the entire time. Too unrealistic for such a plot-driven game. :/

I originally had an all girl save, from first release, then I quickly realized you can't do all paths at the same time. lol

Yeah. As long as you don't do anything with Tanya you can fool around with Ellie on every route, but I'm 100% it will backfire sooner or later. I'm curious to see how the Jenna thing will play out if you fuck Lydia or date Ellie.

I didn't like Tanya from the get go. So, I don't even have a 'one-off' save for it.

I didn't like her either, that's why she's only part of my experimental don't-give-a-fuck route. Other than that, I prefer to have Ellie as a friend and ally. I fear that we'll have not to invite her to our lunch with Connie if we want to have a shot with her, so probably I'll need a separate save just for that. In normal circumstances I'd never leave Ellie out.

Hello!

Just a quick update to let you know that the progress of v.08 is coming along brilliantly.

Currently I'd say I'm about 50% done with the update, so it should be finished and out by the end of the month.

What to expect with this update:
End of the previous day and a complete new day with 200-300 new renders.

Ability to name different saves (huge thanks to KoGa3 for the help with this).

Continuation of the story, and additional scenes and opportunities for progress relationships for both Ellie and Stephanie.

This update will also feature the first ending and epilogue for the game (although it probably isn't one you want to end up with).

Also there will be some minor changes to the previous days dialogue to better reflect the character's thoughts.

Thank you to every single person for all your continued and new support, and I'll be back with an expected release day nearer completion.

Hello!

Just a quick update to let you know I'm about 30 renders away from completing Defending Lydia Collier, and then just need to do a bit of post work so will have the update out in the next few days (before the end of the month).

This update features significant advancement in the story, and also in both of the Ellie and Steph's relationships.

This update also adds a new animation to the mix, which by itself is 280 renders long, although unfortunately with animations the time spent rendering vs the animation time is very poor.

Let me know what you think regarding the animation as I feel it is significantly better quality than the looped two second one previously made for Steph, however it is still fairly short. Considering most scenes in the game are roughly 30-100 renders, at 280 for one animation if you'd rather just still images and more scenes then let me know, one the flip side if you want more animations, let me know that too!

After this update I'll make the September renders (make sure you've voted in the poll if you're a $10+ Patron!) and then begin work on the Shadows over Manston update for October.
