You know, it would be better if you actually gave some suggestions in your posts instead of just taking the shit out of your ass and sending it here via fax machine. That's just my opinion though. It's amazing how this game had the same core gameplay loop for half a decade (as far as I know at least), and refuses to make it any better, but will add realistic rain/snow systems.
I get devs can be a bit autistic but have the contributors also been filtered by it so much?
From what I see using DLSite as an example, they deal with it via the usual 'this is a foreigner (Westerner) problem' solution. That is, they just block foreign IPs from being able to see products that contain certain content, but if you're on a Japanese IP (whether it's via VPN or not), you can see and on the VPN front, I'm pretty sure even purchase them just fine. How does Japan deal with this issue? Ain't they have plenty of platforms just for indie NSFW stuff?
BitcoinDegrees of Lewdity 0.5.5.5 is available. It adds Avery's mansion, a new home location on Danube Street, unlocked after Avery wins the card game at Bailey's flat, and the PC sufficiently charms Avery. This might be the largest DoL update yet.
I also have some bad news though. It seems my SubscribeStar has been soft banned, if that's the term. I can't post, and people can no longer subscribe or be billed. I've contacted support, but have yet to receive a reply, so I'm not sure what the exact problem is. I suspect it has something to do with the recent troubles with privacy and censorship around the world, and in the UK in particular. I talk about it a bit more on my blog:You must be registered to see the links
I've no intention of stopping development, but if all traces of me are wiped from the internet tomorrow, know that making DoL has been a privilege that I never took for granted, and I have no regrets.

Dont know about Free Cities but the pregmod certainly is. Mostly on account of, well. Some of the optional content. Stuff like guro, snuff, cannibalism and even some stuff i cant talk about here or the mods will bonk me.I didn't know Free Cities was so bullied!

First of all, 200 words isn't really that much. You're just lazy. Was gonna give the game a rating... first time I've ever felt like doing so.
200 word minimum to be allowed to click the star?
Why?
Why not allow people to casually rate?
Was gonna write
----
A life sim that beats anything out there.
Unique, and one-of-a-kind experience.
----
But apparently that's not "good enough".
Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Bet you also use ChatGPT to write your school essays.Guess I'm never rating anything, ever, on this site.
Any place that uses Visa/Mastercard is gambling. The Japanese can use their own payment systems.Damn they hit SubscribeStar too? So no place is safe anymore?

Really wish you can all other devs can get a satisfying resolution soon.
Free Expression should never be censored or banned if it's not against the law.
And really appreciate your hardwork no matter what.
26 minutes later and another updateneeds to be updated
Bitcoin is not a currency it is a speculative commodity. A volatile one at that. The transaction fees and times alone are enough to render it basically useless for anything that is actually a common use case because unless you pay extra to skip the queue of transactions the amount of time it takes to process one often times drastically changes the value of the currency. Its like going to a store and picking up something on the shelf for $5 only for it to cost $3 when you get to checkout but finally costing $7 when the payment clears. Not to mention the ever looming threat that the bubble pops and its all useless tomorrow.Bitcoin
Musk will never do anything that is actually good for users or people in general. I mean hes the most famous "free speech absolutist" and he has been running around twitter trying to turn it into an echochamber and banning people for saying shit he doesnt like. Even if he does make a payment processor its likely going to be even more policed than what we already have.(or when X creates a competitor)
