The game is ass, what there is more to say? I can't believe someone would genuinely enjoy the game. The character animation is generic, no lore about the character, the enemies is dumb, the walk path is straight up bad, you cant climb, most of the time I play the character is just sliding and having hard time to get out of the water. This game literally have no redeemable things for me to says that it is good. L game
It's pre-alpha, it's literally a tech demo. What did you expect?

It's also 10 to 20 bucks a month with a release every 3 months...

Or 30 to 60 bucks per release, or the price of a full AAA game, for every patch. That's personally what I am expecting.

I'm not paying, are you? If you are, then that's on you, not me.

We were talking about expectations. Does the fact that one pays or pirate changes the game quality?
I'm talking about price vs expectations, not what I pay vs what I feel entitled to.

What? Your maths failed even more, nowadays an AAA game costs between 60 to 70$ for the base game, period, certainly not 120$/year, and even less 240$/year. (that's not even the cost of an overpriced subscription for MMO games)

Dude, I play star citizen, and put A LOT of money into it, even if I had to make a money/year ratio, I'm still far from 120$/year.

And that's an actual alpha game with hundreds of people working on it.

Not just yet another UE asset flipper done by a single dev.

Then by all means, go and pay 60 bucks for a full AAA game that has your character get sexed up by random tentacles, and get impregnated with parasites.

Yes, creators can "milk" the Patreon/subscription model.

That's the point.

It creates a stable revenue stream in a niche market that's way too volatile to justify the kind of bulk capital investment a AAA game requires.

You are around the right thing with the wrong words.
Milking means a bad practice of purposefully delaying and reducing amount of content released to extend development period.
What should be said however is, it's a wrong approach to consider paying for support as same thing as paying for the product. The whole point of those subscription models is not buying the product, but financing the development. The product can be bought once it's finished. To complain about how much total money would be spent by an individual ombthe product through a subscription is to completely misunderstand it's purpose. If you don't want to finance the development, don't. But the complaints about the "price" are irrelevant if they're formed from perspective of paying for a product.

Yes, once again, i was just talking about expectation, this is not a criticism about the game as it is/will be or the monetization scheme.

I have only played two versions of the game in one year, and I could see the amount of things that changed.

I can't afford to pay for the paywall, but the quality is here, even if the game is far from perfect, as Astcit said, it's still in alpha.

But personally, if I'm talking expectation, I would want something worth the price I'd pay. And that's an opinion that engage only me, if you don't agree, that's ok too.

Financiers (investors) in a product generally make their money back at the end, plus interest. If someone managed to drop $400 on an AVN over ~4 years, they'd get that back plus whatever the interest was (let's say $500 total). Does anyone believe an AVN is worth $500 to be considered enough principal+interest at the end?

The problem isn't the price, it's whether or not an AVN developer purposefully delays working on their product in order to get more money (for zero additional work). i.e. where they should be working on it ~4-8 hours a day, they instead work on it ~1-3.

I can probably name 2-3 AVN developers with VERY active games, who are quite literally intentionally stringing them along (slow development, or adding in non-sensical side characters without working their story at all, etc). Not saying that's happening here, but it does happen, and it leaves a very bad taste in people's mouths and hurts any confidence of contributing to others in the future. Same principle as Steam's Early Access - get burned enough times and you get gunshy with all the others.

Question to the author. Are there plans to add a game modification feature to the game? For example, I am not impressed by the appearance of the main character. I would like to replace it with my model!

The dev doesn't come around here.

If AAA, ie Diablo 4, figured they could charge $60 per Season (a major patch update), then they would. This kind of model only works for pornographic experiences. Much like if Randy Pitchford figured he could make all the money he needed to make a video game by streaming, he would, but this only really works for popular attractive women and the odd man.

That's something like I would like to see for the place of the current heroine!

The thing is: is her pussy as detailed as the one currently?
To me, what makes this game amazing is not her model itself, it's the fucking pussy detail. The urethra, vagina and cervix is modeled AND animated, polygons not just texture. Both labias are modeled AND have physics. The birth animation, the gaping and twitching, the fluids... being quite sincere, the overall body model would be the last thing I would suggest messing with at this point.

Of course, everyone has their own! But, you're not watching pussy most of the game!
