Yeah. There have been a lot of promising projects here on F95, that crashed and burned when the game either got kicked off Steam or their pre-alpha prototype got review bombed into Mostly Negative, and the prospects of making money off it, became nonexistent.Devo I think is going to have a bit of a wake up. Either Steam is going to nuke the project, which I think is more likely once they get wind of the subscription service that is handled off Steam for TOS violating content or the negative review bombs for the slow and limited adult content you have to subscribe for to access will really make a bad impact. I'm not sure if its the language barrier or he doesn't care, but he doesn't seem to want to see reason on this.
Steam likes early access beta titles that intend to be completed in 1-2 years. Beyond that, even Steam gets tired of people complaining to them that the game is abandoned or in development hell. This one, even if it got on Steam, would still be 3+ years away from completion, in terms of gameplay, not mentioning the sexual content.
Now, Itch.io is way more lenient with gameplay concepts, like Tentacle rape. Can find a ton of tentacle themed games on Itch, that you won't find on Steam. So, maybe Devo should get it on Itch, instead of Steam.
"I'm not sure if its the language barrier or he doesn't care, but he doesn't seem to want to see reason on this." I can try talking to them; tell them DKOC wants to talk in PM (and give any feedback on Release 22).
