The platforms and creators succesfully managed to make people think that way. Its the same thing across all of crowdfunding and it makes sense, if they got like a few hundred bucks per month to pursue their hobby/passion next to their normal work.

However with devolopers like Ero, we are talking about similar amounts to what many people earn in their fulltime job, probably more. E.g. looking at Ero, after Patreon takes their cut, he probably gets around the same amount of money as the average person earns per month in an eastern european country, e.g. Romania, Poland etc.

Also, he specifially set a Patreon milestone for:

Its hard to imagine someone working full time on a game and being so completely unable to keep his ETAs.

I really like the game and I wish the developer all the best, but these past few weeks just look exactly like what we've seen from the scammer/milker devs.
His patreon doesn't show how much he makes per month (at least for me as I don't have a Patreon account), so I don't know how you know how much he makes a month. Even if he hit that target, if I was him I would not quit a steady job to pursue a freelance project that might not work out. That's a very scary prospect, especially in today's economy. Not to mention that 1500 Euros a month is not that much money in the grand scheme of things. The cost of living in Europe is fairly high compared to the US and Canada.

All of this though is irrelevant to the main point. It is a subscription service. If you do not like what the guy you are subbed to is doing, then do not sub to him. If you are not subbed to him, then why are you complaining?

Correct me if I'm wrong, is incest a sister and a mother?
The ntr is apparently inevitable (I didn't see in open saying otherwise).
This ntr would be the mother and sister, or the mc fucks sister and mother, so the ntr?
I don't play games that have ntr, but I have my own ntr settings, so the question.
No sister, is mother-son and aunt-nephew. There is a non-ntr path, but before the game split in the two paths there is a small scene of the mother been kissed and groped by force by her boss (we can get rid of him after this).

is ntr avoidable?
Yes

changelog?
Changelog 0.4

- Added 725 renders

- Added 24 animations

- Added Nancy Route

- Added 4 new soundtracks to the game

- Added a notification in the right corner of the screen whenever you score points with a character

- The color of the character names in the stat box now changes depending on which route the player is on

- The tooltip now shows different information depending on which route the player is on

- I highly recommend starting a new game when you play this chapter because old saves will likely cause issues!

There is something you folks need to realize about Patreon and Subscribestar as a whole: When you sub to someone, you are not buying a product. You are offering a creator some pocket change so that they can spend more time working on their project without going homeless. You are NOT standing in a store exchanging money for a bundle of banoonoos, you are helping someone out. Them sharing what they are working on is an eventual result of that support. They are not obligated to follow a release schedule because you are not buying that creators product, you are donating money to them.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Lovingly yours,
Summer Love
I've heard this very same argument many times before and to me it always seems like mental gymnastics.
You are not "offering" anything, you're buying into a subscription-like model fully expecting the developer to keep showing content in a steady pace or else you just stop pledging and, if the trend escalates with enough people following suit, the dev will end up either transforming his project into a hobbie or he might just decide the whole thing not to be worth his time and drop it altogether.

Okay, I saw a young girl, I thought she would be a sister. Is the ntr from the mother-aunt then? I don't speak the language, is it avoidable depending on choices, or is there something that turns it off?
Is avoidable. The ntr for now is from the mother but is fully avoidable with the exception of a small and harmless scene

Not gonna go to far into it but a lot of people talking about what support on crowdfunding is or isn't are both wrong and greatly downplaying the support Ero has gotten over these past three months while he lied and failed to communicate. Someone here said it was "pocket change" while ignoring that almost 50 of his patrons are at the highest tier. Meaning he makes over 1k off those people alone per month. That isn't pocket change. Also crowdfunding is a lot more like having investors than selling a product and you are accountable to those investors. Meeting deadlines, communication, progress updates, etc are all part of that relationship. So when your investors are lied to or ignored it means you lose those investors.

Finally, the update is out and I have played through it and I can honestly say it has big A Wife and Mother energy and absolutely was not worth the 3 month wait for my personally so I will be pulling my support as I explained to Ero. Hopefully he learns from all this but if there are people willing to ignore or justify his failings he has no real reason to.
Just... no.

You are not an "investor", you are a subscriber to a dude making a porn game. He is not obligated to make communications to the people who subscribe to him. It's probably a very good idea if he does, but there is no law or any terms in Patreons ToS that says he must have regular contact.
As for the people at the highest sub tier... it's their money. Only they can decide what their money is worth and what to spend it on, and if they decide that a sub to a porn game is what they want, then god bless.
Finally, you say that crowdfunding is not like selling a product, which I 158,000% agree with, but investing... no. Subbing to a porn game is not like investing. That is like handing a sandwich to a homeless man and then standing there harassing the poor guy about all the things he needs to do for in return for that sandwich you chose to give him.
Unless you have a mountain of paperwork and contracts between you and the dev saying that he needs to do all of the things you claim, then he doesn't actually have to do shit. He could abandon the project tomorrow out of the blue and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it, because you are not an investor. You are a dude giving another dude pocket change so that maybe he can slowly make a game.
