Well that's a big shame, it's also pretty worrying that he seems to be changing major parts of this update last minute and doesn't seem to know what reasonable time he's able to drop it.
Going from this to "I'll be working round the clock to be able to release it before the end of next week" is concerning.
Respect to him for being more communicative during the development of this chapter, however seven months is a very long time for supporters to wait on one update for. Hopefully it has plenty of content.

To be honest I really wanted to support him on patreon but at this rate and breaking his own words quite a few times I am not sure if it’s right. I mean come on it’s normal so have some delays but not like this? There are more delays than updates… it kinda annoys me for all of theguys who support him financially. Also his goal went down to 79%…

Not really,way worse is any card or board game addiction.
Especially a game that got monthly/bi-monthly updates.
Like a lot TCG(trading card game),LCG(living card game)or DBG(deck building game)
Sadly after the update,I am sure this won't be the case.
Now we can only hope the game will be release before the end of the World Cup on 18 December

Most of the games that get a bad rep for grammar are made by devs whose first language isn't english so it's a given that the end result is an unreadable mess. Though I doubt whatever mistakes demon boy would've had, it wouldn't be so extreme besides some minor errors here and there.
Proofreading is the easiest thing in game-making. I am not saying that Ero said this himself. But still, it takes him almost a month to proofread. The reality is that he is still rendering and creating the animations he already told us were completed. So why did he tell us that the animation and renders are completed? He wants to satisfy the crowd and ensure the patrons that a decent progress of the game is going on. Instead of saying that the animation and renders are progressing very slowly, he is giving separate excuses for every development level of the game, like first he had rendering problems, then he had some animation problems, and now he also has problems with proofreading (at the earlier stage of the game, he had no problems, but now he has every problem there can be). That way, the patrons won't get frustrated and stop their subscriptions to Patreon, and everyone will adjust themselves and wait for the update.

At this point, I'm going to have to guess that this is the most likely answer. I mean, let's face it, those gorgeous renders take a long time to make and now that he started with more animations, the development time will only increase.
Which is ironic, in that trying to please the fans he only ends pissing them off further. Best thing he could have done was say: "Look guys, I think I'm almost done with the chapter but I still have to revision it. I don't know how long it will take. I understand if some of you won't support me in the coming months, due to the long development process. But it is what it is. I would rather not give out even an estimate. It will be done when it's done."
