Given the slow pace (which is good imo) and one update each year with 800 renders ( yes he's that slow) I would say come back in 2 to 3 years.

That just shows how some Devs are dedicated to their work and some are not
Pink cake is working alone on his project too so your point is not valid and Ero is making a living out of Demon boy too. He's just slow on his project. He does good quality but he lacks fast development time

I'ma tell you this if Ero releases update more frequently and faster he could be one of the big Devs out there but he chose to delay the updates more and more which makes his fanbase static. How do you think Dr.pinkcake got this much supporters he has everything that Ero has but he delivers that's what matters in the end.
