Also the gameplay loop is pretty bad before getting the stats rolling. With no transitioning that is meaningful(time moving things forward when you create a 15-20 minutes series of clicks just to get from your bedroom to the kitchen feels terrible), and certain characters having multiple places they can be at the same time means you can waste a whole 2-3 hours just looking, and then not being able to engage with them that day.
