After downloading "Ch. 2.1 Hotfix", I have exactly the same problem, the GAME runs in loop from episode 2 !

not gonna lie, fight minigame is kinda shit. No way to win, you lose health even if you block but she doesn't, so you got like 4-5 hits till you lose no matter what.
