Came back to find this game finished, and binged it all. Congrats on finishing the game! I'm really glad this didn't get abandoned, as it is one of my favs!

I just finished playing this for the first time, the complete game including the extended end, and its really good. Well done and congrats on finishing.
I would agree that the story lacks tensions especially after the Toni plot wraps up and falls a bit into generic happy harem territory, but the renders are really nice and that ending is really good. Kinda boggles my mind that people are bitching about it because I think it really elevates your game up a notch above similar titles. They are lucky i'm not the dev, because I personally would not have included the "Serena is alive actually, surprise" scene. Sacrifices are nullified in meaning/impact with that kind of reserve uno. Though it's still great that its more meta/separate and doesn't detract from the MC getting to go it on his own into the future.
Anyway, good stuff and it seems like a sequel might be a thing, so good luck on future projects.

Ok I must say I loved the images, the animation pretty much everything about this story except that ending felt like the dev had a really bad day and decided to take it out on his readers... if that's the "good" ending because it's the full family / harem route then I don't think I want to know about the other routes. To be honest if I wanted something that terrible for an ending I'd stick to reality, but this was fantasy and it was fun and soft hearted. No one believes any man can pull off this type of relationship even though I have seen men with 3 women and they seem pretty happy and when you have a guy that will instead of cheating and leaving you will just bring the women into the relationship and continue having a sex life with you, not sure how that's a bad thing, better than leaving them for a younger woman....
I even tried to play back through without sarah because she is the problem to complete happiness and all that did is lead to a huge choice that removed way more than just her from the group

Personally, I didn't like the drama with Sarah's mother at the end, I thought it was unnecessary. But I can respect the dev's vision, it was well written and the scene made sense.
I also wanted to congratulate the dev for finishing the game and call him a master of HS2 lol. The models are beautiful, the backgrounds are also nice with well-placed shadows and lights. And incredible non-laggy animations too! I loved all the little "cuddle" scenes with the girls too, Melinda in special was always so cute.

Just a quick question, is the extended harem finale update that released a couple of weeks ago the final FINAL update for the game or are there anymore updates planned?
i know where the images goes for the extended ending but where does the rest go? does it also go in the game file or does it go to the renpy file?

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a nice weekend.
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on how things are going to be moving forward.
As you all know, the main path of Depth's Revival is now complete, the solo paths and a couple more paths are missing, and I'll be back later to add them in the game, but my focus is on my next two projects at the moment.
The first one is Deathless, aka Project: Pain, which is going to be available on both SS and Patreon.
Deathless is going to be a more action packed and story focused VN compared to DR. You
can check out my older devlogs if you want to learn more about it.
The script for the first chapter is almost complete, and I'll start my work on the renders soon.
The second one is of course Depth's Revival 2 which is only going to be available on SS. And unlike the name suggest, this game is going to focus on a completely new character and his life.
We'll be controlling another suicidal guy who awakens his subconscious in order to fix his life. I really like this concept and I know I can do it better and that is what I'm going to do.
Think DR2 as the ultimate version of the first game. Anything you like on the first game is going to be in this one, and it's going to be better and expanded, I'll promise you that.
After releasing the initial version of Deathless and DR2, I'll keep on releasing updates back and forth between them until they're both complete.

I was reading through the pages of comments trying to decide if I wanted to give this one a shot. The comments are enough of a roller coaster that I just do not have the energy nor desire to.
