What the hell is going on here? Can someone please explain with some coherent response? Like is there an updated mod? Is the dev updating the game, or is he only pretending to be updating the game? Is this game actually abandoned? Is this like a ghost town with one resident ... the sheriff (dev)? He who pretends to be sheriffing a town, but doesn't actually do anything except sit behind a desk and mindlessly taps on typewriter keys over and over like The Shining, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"?

I haven't touch this game for awhile but did it get changed? Because i thought in the beginning you got to make more choices but i could be wrong. But i remember when the last time i played their was choices like when you find out where your sister was doing for the last 6 year like you could get mad or understand or at the gas station thought their was choices their too but like i said it been awhile since lasted i played.

Man, developing the game backwards (at least so far) is not it. It's a problem trying to make your first game a magnum opus, there's constant temptation for iteration all the time as your familiarity with the process gets better. Unless you're absolutely driven and disciplined, it just leaves the door open for burnout.

Seems safer to use the first game as a fast-moving experiment, and lock in on the 2nd once you're confident about the process and can plan the project from scratch. With the whole Patreon system, you're not going to turn patrons off by not being perfect the first time around. Most of them would probably prefer quicker turnaround and forward movement anyway.

I agree whole heartedly. If you're gonna make a game and you want to rework it wait until you have it finished or something. Trying to remake it when you get a following that's invested and then you're remaking the game for a year makes people not want to wait for it anymore and some will pull support. I've also seen creators just drop or get burned out like you said as well and then we the readers/players are SoL

think the walkthrough mod is abandoned, same mod dev recently lost another mod because he said he was going to update it "tomorrow" but ended up not doing for a month.

This game is promising but hasn't made any progress for a long time. I hope the developer adds more soon. I would be sad if this game went to waste.

I really like this game, and I think it has a lot of potential with the great render quality and the unusual setup; however, I am pretty sure the dev isn't sure what direction the story should go. Out of my own curiosity, I replayed v0.0.3a, which was released on February 21, 2022. The only notable changes that have been introduced are:

-the option to follow Gray in the office scene
-car breaking down/gas station scene (sister's porn star backstory was added in v0.0.4 for reference)

The less notable changes are Priscilla's hairstyle getting changed and the coffee shop girl's outfit and coffee shop scene dialogue varying a little bit. With all that being said, between v0.0.3a and v0.0.5.0 the story hasn't moved forward at all. Both v0.0.3a and v0.0.5.0 end on the rooftop. Around 17 months separate v0.0.3a and the release of the current version, and that doesn't look very promising considering the amount of changes/new content.

The dev was pretty open that v0.0.5 will not add much new content, but revamps existing parts.
Considering this is 0.0.x, I still see quite a bit of room for new content.

He answered a question on itch 16 days ago, regardless of that I think this game is pretty much done for at this point and I suspect he started developing a different game under a different alias.

Both devs are russian and the amount of similarities is odd to say the least. If someone cared enough you could probably go through the file structure of both games and actually confirm that, if it happens to be true. I am not suprised by what happened to this game, the communication was really lackluster and to this day I don't understand what possesed him to suddenly turn the sister into a pornstar. The MC of this game was a nice contrast to the everpresent overused cliche MC that most games have nowdays.

Huh? I think you misunderstand what people hate about it. Pornstars are women that have sex with many men. Some men, rightfully so, aren't comfortable with that. That's fair, some are, some aren't. However, it's also HOW things are added. Sometimes stories are well developed, and sometimes they are just added for drama. This was one of those cases.

As for applying a moral compass, it's about how you interact with the game. Some people dont' want to play a genocidal baby eating nazi, would that qualify as a moral compass decision? Even then, what's wrong with applying a moral compass? We are all people with different experiences and likes and dislike, it'd be weird to not consider it even a little bit.
