points is what matter most as long as you got 8 at that point you can keep her around i guess, in my case i need it those 2 that you get with sending her away. could cheese i guess, but am running both paths anyway

ehhh. Idk about that. One of the reason why I like the sharing kink in this game is because the kink focuses on the pleasure of the MC. If any female interests get too into it would step into the NTR territory IMO.

Dev should continue doing what’s he been doing. They do enjoy the sharing but the most of the focus is on MC pleasure and control.

That's why I love this game. You can just choose when you feel like sharing. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes I don't want some random fucks doing anything with what's mine. It's a great way to implement an NTR aspect into the game.

Well, one of the tags is swinging which usually entails both getting a kick out of it. Just my personal opinion. The first part of my statement though, I think, holds up on a more factual basis.

Neither quest complete. Ive slept several times and skipped day several times and nothing happens. It always shows an exclamation mark that there is something to do at Rabia's and the basement but there are no new options. At Rabias, the options to go into rooms are all greyed out. I think its bugged for me but its ok. Whenever the next update comes out Ill start again then. Not gonna re-dl the game again.

Old save could be a reason yes. I start everytime over, after update. :)

If you don't self insert, you are not gonna have a lot of emotional attachment, catharsis, or anything of the sort. It's simply just dark porn, where the situations are immoral and the elements of female corruption are high. Granted, you could still empathize and feel bad for the guy without self inserting, but these types of players still enjoy NTR (at least those that are choosing to play NTR games), though I find that they tend to prefer stories where the cucked guy comes out at least OK at the end, if not outright winning in some revenge ending. They also probably enjoy netorase more than standard NTR stuff.

If you do self insert, it's obviously gonna bring out strong emotional responses. A small percentage of NTR fans do thrive on those bad feelings by self inserting as the cucked MC. They enjoy that. And obviously, the overwhelming majority of anti-NTR players who self insert will blow a fuse when stuff like that happens to "them."

Obviously, self inserting NTR haters and non-self insert NTR enjoyers don't make up the whole player base. There are non-self inserters that just don't like fucked up stories, and the true cuck players that self insert in NTR. But clearly, at least in the NTR fandom, self inserting is the minority by a pretty big margin. It just makes sense intuitively too. Does it make more sense for people to enjoy increasingly fucked up porn stories as they get desensitized to vanilla over the years? Or do you think that the number of masochistic cuckold people in the world is high enough to explain the amount of NTR content produced and consumed? I'm thinking the former.

And before we get too sidetracked, Desert Stalker isn't really NTR or even netorase. It's just "alpha sharing" that is completely power fantasy instead of being thematically derived from cuckoldry or masochistic tendencies like in the typical netorase stories. And before someone loses it again, no, I'm not saying sharing is more alpha than not sharing in this game. It's just two ways to play the same character. MC is completely in control in both routes.

This is quite an interesting analysis and really got me thinking.
A bit anecdotal but I kinda fit into both categories depending on the media.

I consume NTR doujin comics. where I do not self insert.

On video games I always self insert, because the game makes me puppet a "main character".
This feels like the video game is forcing my hand in the term of self insertion.

As a result I abhor netorare in video games.
I also have near 0 tolerance towards female MC games. Regardless of whether they are pornographic games or even mainstream games.

This also reminds of the Ryona genre of video games.
Where I have spoken with fans who told me they self insert as God, who is torturing the female MC for fun.

Well...maybe. That's unknown for now, but not in the realm of impossibility. Though, if you're more dominant toward her...she isn't so bad. One of the last things I remember after MC scolds her asking, "Will you help me out again? Please?" and after MC says he'll do it, she says she appreciates it and then says, "Be careful out there, MC".

So, the way I see it, she's someone who's been told she had to be a certain way all her life, especially in front of others. She's not ever truly been able to be herself. She's misguided. There's still hope for her, yet. But it will take MC to set her straight.

Kill the queen? Even the most known Desert Stalker wouldn't think of such a thing... yet. Maybe if he decided to fully support the mutants, or the raiders, and went to war against the queen for Zetan's control. Would be an interesting outcome IMO.
