Probably because other VNs here take so damn long between updates. Zetan has been very consistent with the updates since the beginning. Other devs like to milk the ever loving fuck out of their games.

This is a game with a lot of controversial fetishes which you probably don't want to indulge in IRL but which make sense and are enjoyable within the context of the story and world building.
Some controversial fetishes:
- incest
- gore
- rape
- sharing
- etc
Of these, only sharing and (I think) rape are fully avoidable.

Sharing is not really my fetish, but I always find it hilarious and somewhat disturbing that people on here are way more accepting of incest rather than sharing.
I don't mean to say that people should be okay with sharing, it's ok to like and dislike whatever you want. But I have rarely ever seen people complain about optional incest and patches. But people always complain about even completely optional sharing.
If you disable sharing at the start, you can completely forget that sharing even exists in this game. So the complaints are kind of weird.

Oh, I mostly agree, which is why this game is the only one on the site that I pay for on Patreon. However, there are other games that I enjoy, where the updates are very consistent like: Corrupted Kingdoms, Love and Corruption, The Seven Realms, Superhuman, College Daze, Tales from the unending Void, etc. If I had more money to spend I would support these games as well.

I think that’s because incest is so far removed from real life. Most people aren’t into it IRL; more often than not it occurs unknowingly (siblings separated at birth falling in love without knowledge of their blood relation) or unconsensually (a parent abusing their children); and it’s a crime with pretty sever repercussions.
