it might take a little more than 2 more weeks this time around.. given the trouble with the last update, we're going to take our time with the playtesting, plus editing is still underway. We are trying to figure out what went wrong last time (and what seems to still be going wrong in some cases). We want to deliver as bug free a game as we can.
When Z talks about a scene being 100% done, that means the panels..text editing goes on top of that... (although it doesn't take too long)...and then there's playtesting... which all in all might take several more days this time around (bigger update and all that)...
So.. my estimate is 2 weeks at least.. 3 more likely.. neither number is a promise.

That's fine, it's the quality of the products that matters.

Might I ask which link you downloaded it from?
Because the issue listed in the traceback.log happens in an older, bugged version and a cursory look at the NOPY PC link shows it's up to date, where you shouldn't have the error regarding the names.

That said, if you are starting a new game you can safely delete after_load.rpy/rpyc files from the game folder which is the cause of that error, since you don't need them.

Also, I took a look at your saves (thanks for providing them btw), and something is going very wrong in there. The scene you are thrown back into is the last scene the game thinks you have seen.

If you tried starting again, does this issue persist?

I used the MEGA link to download.

EDIT: So, I downloaded again using the NOPY link. I deleted the after_load.rpyc / rpy files. And ... it works. The back takes you back to the previous scene, and I can reload my save without having the problem of variables. thank you.

Just imagine if devs do listen for those pleas, and we got fluid-gender-no-gender-characters (non offensive, highly immersible and porn-correct), with flat chests and asses, large clits, tiny dicks...the only huge disproportional "distracting" thing could be the belly, either of prego kind, or just from too much beer...What would be the next complain then?

That said, Ain's tits will probably stay the same... she's just genetically blessed in a bimbo direction.... and we've gone back and forth enough with her looks (for other reasons that can be found abundantly discussed in this thread).

Yeah the thing is, the reason for the change didn't make sense anyway. If dev was so concerned about Ain's perceived age, he could have just made her taller. Instead, now she looks older than Shani and has boobs bigger and saggier than any other character , it's just overkill IMO.

What I will however speak up about is that he should stick to his vision because the more popular the game becomes (and that's slowly building momentum, yay!), the more requests will pour in, often in opposite directions from one another. If he were to start listening to them, he'd end up spread too thin, and the characters would be jerked in too many different directions, both visually and conceptually.

That being said, there's been many others with similar thoughts on Ain's comically huge boobs, so it wouldn't be just tending to a few opinions but perhaps a significant portion of players. Who knows though, maybe more people like her current boobs more.

Well said friend. It’s Z’s game. We all have ideas. I have shared mine with him. But the decision on the story is his and he is doing very well. I can’t wait to see what he does next.

Nobody's asking the dev to change his story. His story, theme, gameplay, and characters are perfect and unique, and the reason most of us love this game. Minor alterations to character design are quite common, especially in early stages of game development - besides, reverting back to Ain's old body would actually be more in line with the dev's original/intended vision.

I think the game is perfect as it is. I don't see why we have to cater to some opinions. If you want Ain's boobs to be smaller, I want them to remain as the dev intended. My opinion has the same gravity as yours. Spamming the forum with your opinion over and over and then claiming that many people think the same, is obviously not the case. Also, if you want your voice to have more gravitas, become a Patreon.

I do however want to point out that as much as we appreciate the patrons'... patronage, and I know Z really does, he has refused to take requests before and I think he will not change his mind in that regard. So yes, your voice would be louder, but not necessarily come with more convincing power. (don't let that stop you from joining the Patreon though, the man needs a new computer )

Opinions and suggestions are welcome as always, from patrons or fans alike. They foster debate and may bring new thoughts to Z's creative process if they actually bring new ideas and content to the discussion, plus we like the notion of having an open communication with people on the discord. It's always fun to read people's thoughts and hypotheses/flights of fancy on where the game will go next, or their elaborations on the characters' dispositions. (spoiler: plot-wise, when a chapter is released, we usually have already a fairly good idea of what content will go in the next one)
That said, the suggestions and opinions relayed will not have a direct effect on Z's decisions with regards to the game, in any of it's aspects, unless he specifically asks for opinions or puts out a poll, contribution notwithstanding.

Luckily, so far, I can gratefully say that most patrons, including (in fact, especially) the top tier ones, seem to accept this general disposition and Z's straightforwardness in this regard.

Well that is because people do not write about every little thing they like in a game. I like the breasts, but I do not go out to point it out. If every single person who liked them voiced it in the same way as people having an issue with it, we would probably have pages in the hundreds already.
