Can I just say, the initial release of a new game introduces us to wonderful characters, scenarios, events etc.
Then we tend to favour certain characters and demand to see more or less of them.
Add to that our own unique kinks, and how we wish the game to progress. I personally think we should respect the creators development of the story. Otherwise we obliterate the process. When Lost first appeared on the TV it felt like a unique show, then the success forced the writers to introduce absolute shite back stories,side stories, pointless characters as well.

I love how fans can influence the development of something they like, to an extent. I just think we need to let the devs get on with it, not blow them away with millions of ideas. I think that could be what slows down the development. It's just, I felt as if the last update was simply satisfying the needs to see certain sexual content. But the story failed to develop in any significant way.

So you have a preference of looks and body type. Not a plot altering Fetish. That is the difference. Unless like the Fetish requests you want 2 or 3 Variants of each Character it won't bog down Dev time.

I have the same feelings. Intelligent, slender and, let's say, fierce women are my favorite type. Instant boner. Even better if they have a streak of perversion. Asha, Kyra and Merneith (I can't really rank them) are the best characters for me.

As for house girls, I don't really find them interesting.

I instantly recognized the older sister as some kind of local Tomb Raider, Jolie type, with the body more suited for bed rather than combat or scavenging.
The yonger sister is a yonger Zahra version with pony tails. She don't really have any personality. I thought that you might marry her to Igor to strengthen the bonding between houses, but turned out he already has a woman. I disagree. Zetans seem like individualists to the core. They prefer to keep their business for themselves. Every citizen is a king in their own House, even queen representatives can't just your house and order to you what to do.

I'm glad that sharing is optional. Feels more natural to me, when every house tried to maintain it's pride. It's rather complex topic. Well, for one thing, it's interesting how the game can have sharing and non-sharing paths/scenes, while both fit in perfectly in the lore. The same can be said for the wincest/faux-cest options.

What is interesting to me is HOW the lore makes both paths plausible. Rather than just repeating "I want XYZ sharing scenes. Why weren't there XYZ sharing scenes in the last update?"

But exploring the HOW in context of the lore will automatically go into themes like history, anthropology, sociology, psychology etc. which are then deemed off-topic and deleted.

While the "I want XYZ sharing scenes. Why weren't there XYZ sharing scenes in the last update?" posts keep coming.

I find this incredibly frustrating.

Although you are technically right, there is a team behind DS and they manage to put out sizable updates on a regular schedule so I don't care if there is some content in which I am not extremely interested in, as long as there is also plenty of good content that I like. So far I have never been disappointed.

The same goes for development of side characters like wizardcock mentions. Sure they add development time and maybe you can also do without them but at the same time they do enrich the game. If the devs had asked me whether I wanted a Shani-Zaton mission or the Lirah arc, I'd have voted for Shani but they didn't ask, we got Lirah and I have to say that I did really like what we got.
