Problem with Pdeadbeat is he’s shown basically everything in wips, you can find comps online of his latest release at about 30 mins of every wip so far, desire managed to release this with about 30 seconds shown from the 2nd half of the movie
DesireSFM has posted some wallpapers made on Blender "2022-02-02 10:56:49 My First Blender-Picture (Patreon) 15 hours of work on just one wallpaper" so he has some familiarity with it and did not just start from point zero, and knowing SFM is helpful as a base as any 3D software would, when the Golden Grain was finished. If he does the next Corruption episode on Blender indeed, and not go back to SFM, we may get some wallpapers from time to time or other images just as a bridge until he gets something done. Since it took him 3 years on SFM for almost 40 minutes of material he might just go back to doing 5 minutes first year and then 5 minutes again or something like in the rate he initially did for SFM videos. He went from 5 minutes in several videos, he did some trailers and some other brief ones, to 12 in PE and then 24 minutes and then almost 40.

Switching to blender is pretty much retiring. If it took him 3 years to make his last movie, my kids might be in college by the time his next one comes out.

Curious how the switch to blender will go. Especially when it comes to his usual runtime for animations as rendering that in blender will be a huge task in itself. Nonetheless I do think it's a good decision as SFM is really rough to look at these days.
black jr needs to do the same, move on from sfm. At desiresfm quality wise was better then blackjr. Blackjr problem was the models and the clipping but his animation was good. He also did do some blender like a test but I guess he had gave up on it.
