You should go through the skip section (sewers as i remember) and move it from behind, anyway you can't open that door from the skip's side.

Anyone else have problems with saving in rpg maker games? I know there are multiple problems involving them but I cant find the right solution. When ever I save in a game if I close it and reopen it there are no saves.

Yeah, I can verify this as well. One of the KaguraGames translations is definitely NOT their own work, whatever they may claim. The original translation for said work was posted for free several months before KaguraGames released it.
That being said KaguraGames does good work and monetizing translations isn't something I'm upset about.
Are they? That's pretty wrong if that were the case.
As for the game however, I would rank it second/third best out of Clymenia games. Nowhere near as good as Salvation, but much better than that nobleman hypnosis one. Than again, I'm not a fan of male MC's outside of a long RPG eroge (such as the Rance games, Eiyuu Senki, etc.)

Civilian Justice League 2 had a public reputation system and impregnation mechanics.
Liz & Tower Town had publicly random sex encounters with significantly more events than any other game plus a unique item gathering/crafting system.
Hypnosis Aristocrat allowed you to mind control adventurers or go out and be one yourself as you slowly strengthen your mind control powers and eventually make yourself the ruler of the town you live in.
If we count Salvation as the top, that makes Detective Girl their 5th best game bro. Unless you think Detective Girl somehow beats ALL of these games, even though it lacks features they all had.
Detective Girl has no impregnation, no item gathering/crafting to raise public affinity, no mind control mechanics leading to literally usurping your uncle as Town Noble.
All Detective Girl has is a tomboy protagonist.
I'm a simple man with a very simple criteria. All I care about are 1) the hentai scenes 2) Potential freedom of action. If the mechanics of a game don't play into that, they simply don't matter on my scale.
1) Okay, the public reputation system was fun, but it also felt like an extended lewd counter than anything. However, the impregnation scenes were "eh" to me.
2) Male MC + hypnosis? Automatic 2 outs for me
3) Okay, I'll give you that one as well.
So I guess this would be my 3rd or 4th favourite Clymenia game, all things considered. Objectively, I guess it could be argued that this was one of Clymenia's weaker games. However, I merely stated my subjective opinion.

Anyone having issues like the one pictured? I am running this on a Linux distro and using a rpg maker mv tool located on this site to help launch the game since it does not launch normally.
There might be something with the package from Detective Girl that is causing problems.
Got it to work with RPG Maker MV 1.61 after making the TFF change to tff to one of the fonts. But I did come up with a problem. Im also curious to see if the package that has 1 mb more than the other is at fault for the resource missing. By package I mean resources.pak

Yup, excatly my thoughts. It almost feels like they wanted to focus on the story in this one instead of the porn aspect. The only reason she does anything lewd is because we decided so, she gains nothing from it and it really sucks. For me the game's overall lackluster because it doesn't have random lewd encounters in public, no real mechanics etc.

I like the game for its unique ideas and I like the gameplay too.
I agree the excecution of the latter half was a bit lackluster and imo the content towards the end could have been more, esp some routes felt a bit short and ended apruptly and there wasnt a lot of follow-through for a lot of the side stories.
Same on the half-asses excuses for her to do the things she does, there should be more of a lead-in for some of the scenarios.
Aside from that its an okay game and miles better than some of the other ones I see here. Idk about the devs beyond the fact that they made a couple of games like CJL 1 and 2 and that Kagura made the translation, but i dont get the hate.

I can't find the supplies shop in slums. Can anybody help with location or with editor to make this go away?

I felt that too. I went the lewd route (which takes an annoying amount of work) and the game kept telling me her personality was so drastically different and how she can only "think with her womb". But in the actual dialogue there were few notable changes to her behavior. The art in the porn itself isn't even good. The girls look good, but the men look like weird, lumpy freaks and they're so bad it's distracting.
Feels like they just tacked porn on at the last minute.
