She's dead for one thing. And you've bound her to yourself for another....It's been a minute since I've played and I'm drawing blanks, what about Anya makes her situation immoral?

I knew they couldn't get pregnant. was just making sure you still had the work around planed for it. Thank you for the reply, take careView attachment 3001625
That's the most important part of that sentence. They won't be able to give birth. I still do have a story way to give both Nat and Grace offspring with Lucas. I'm not willing to elaborate on that.
As for Anya, I was initially all in on her having kids. However some moral issues were discussed with my wife, and I started having doubts because she felt very strongly that it was wrong. Given that most of the people playing are on the good route, I'm not sure that it's something a good Lucas would do. A bad one is unlikely to mind.
The main issue is that if I did allow him to do it, there's no way to get around the immorality of it. So I'd really have to think about how I'm going to write that storyline because doing it and then not mentioning the ethics at all are going to feel scummy for a lot of people.
All I'm going to say is wait until you see where her storyline is going, I'll ask again after that. If enough people still want it, I'll give it to you. Otherwise, it's cool. Both versions are already mapped out.
I mean I figure if she's having kids she's not dead anymore... so we've probably fixed part 1, why couldn't part 2 also be solved for? She's dead for one thing. And you've bound her to yourself for another....

Yeah, i could see some morale problems depending on how to bring her back. As for the bond, we really don't know how that really works yet, need to see how that plays out after she is back and her soul mended.I mean I figure if she's having kids she's not dead anymore... so we've probably fixed part 1, why couldn't part 2 also be solved for?
I personally don't see an issue. I agree with TigerWolfe on this. Unless BHG pulls shenanigans with it, there's no problem. If he does, Anya already thinks she's in love with him, why break her heart and tell her it's all a lie?Yeah, i could see some morale problems depending on how to bring her back. But having a slave is not bad either, but i will consult with my with my main girl Lily for morale guidance![]()
True, but who knows how her mental state will be after they mend her soul and bring her back.I personally don't see an issue. I agree with TigerWolfe on this. Her mental state will be worse if you tell her that her love for you is false. That could push her over and she could harm herself. We have to keep her safe no matter what. No raising a dead body for her. She deserves the best. I'm a bit overproactive when it comes to her.True, but who knows how her mental state will be after they mend her soul and bring her back.
As for a body, i'm curious if Lily could create a succubus body or something like that for her and we put her soul in it, sounds better than the MC trying to raise a dead body, or maybe take over the mind of a living one![]()
So here's my suspicion of how the whole thing works with her, spoilered for obvious reasons. The problem I have with the immorality thing is, without knowing the specifics, it should preclude having a romantic relationship with her at all.
i think that lily could make her a body like she's doing for adamSo here's my suspicion of how the whole thing works with her, spoilered for obvious reasons.
That's my theory for how romance/sex with her might not be immoral while pregnancy could be.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

I had the idea that this required his head, which in Anya's case we don't have.i think that lily could make her a body like she's doing for adam
The getting her pregnant is what's deemed immoral, that would make pretty much everything immoral.Ya‘ll seem to forget one possible option…

like yours, this one is only speculation on my part but it would make sense imho
Is it though? The getting her pregnant is what's deemed immoral, that would make pretty much everything immoral.
I mean, technically. I really don't think a necromancer can give actual life back to a dead body. So, she'd still be, technically of course, an animated corpse. A sentient zombie. One who can think for herself and give consent. And if her soul's back inside her body it's not really a corpse anymore either.
Depends on the magic system, in some systems all healing magic falls under necromancy, so even full resurrections are considered necromantic.I mean, technically. Ok, lets all reset for a second. It's BHG's Wife who thinks the getting Anya pregnant is immoral. We're all being left to speculate on what could cause her to think that all without knowing a thing about the woman, and so we're focusing on in game. I'll mention an example as I recognize many people here from other games, many of us here play incest games. Incest, even just in games, is still seen as immoral and incestuous pregnancies even more so, regardless of the consent or willingness of the parties involved. Say Mrs BHG is against incest, she deems it immoral fictional or otherwise, many of us here would disagree. So getting Anya pregnant could be a similar situation, or it might be that we'll stop and go "No, she was right. Getting Anya pregnant like this would be fucked up".Is it though?
I've always thought the immoral aspect of necrophilia is the whole desecration of a corpse/lack of consent thing.
If we raise her body and put her back inside, she's now sapient and can consent... And if her soul's back inside her body it's not really a corpse anymore either.
That's a bit of a stretch, isn't it? We already saw what happened with the other corpse. Do we actually want to risk that again? I know I don't. As much as I hate saying it, I think Lily is our only chance at some type of resurrection for our dear Anya.Depends on the magic system, in some systems all healing magic falls under necromancy, so even full resurrections are considered necromantic.
You're correct. We don't know. Let me concede my previous point about sentient undead for a moment. For Anya's sake. We all care what happens with and to her. We don't want an actual animated corpse version of her, because that brings in it's own set of moral issues, even if we reciprocate her perceived feelings about her. So, as I said above, Lily is the only chance Anya has for a somewhat normal life. I'm also sure Lily could make her look exactly(Or close enough so it wouldn't matter much) as she did before her death. A clone so to speak. So, then instead of us raising her from the dead and creating an animated corpse/zombie, we would just be pulling her soul out of that hellish place(Limbo?) she's in and placing her in a living, breathing body.Ok, lets all reset for a second. That said, yes part of the problem with necrophilia has been and is the lack of consent thing, it's also been seen as defiling/disrespecting the corpse. Not to mention the influence of various religions.
Not to start a fight again, but I don't count sentient undead as actually dead and thus not as necrophilia.
