Most models were restored, those that couldn't be have been remade. Much of the asset library has been redownloaded. New content is being worked on.

I am (was) a Patreon supporter, and while I find Patreon the best one in terms of usability and user experience, I wouldn't have problems moving to another platform. I'm already active on both SubsribeStart and itch.io, and the same might be true for most of his former patreons.
If he wants to move the project somewhere else, I don't see a big problem with that. Chances are most of the subscribers will follow him anywhere he chooses to move in.

Idk about the rest of you but when I support someone on Patreon it's to access dev updates and polls etc and support a project I like, not to actually download the game. I always get my downloads from here anyway, so to me it seems the patch option would be best. That way patreon has the "safe" if incoherent version and we can just grab the patch here. I know it's not BHG's fault but having this one go unfinished would be pretty dissappointing, especially after the whole deleted/recovered/remaking assets rollercoaster ride.

Seems like hoisted by own petard by having kids in an erotic game. Not sure why any devs do that, seems like pulling the pin of a grenade, it's almost always going to blow up in your face.
It's a shame it seems like dev feels backed into a corner and might drop the game. Strange that they are getting hit with this censorship when a bunch of other games have kids occasionally appear (those games may not have been on Patreon). Hopefully they can find a way to write themselves out of this corner and learn from it. (But also, how hard is it not to put kids next to your porn? Just...don't. Problem solved.)

Because kids actually exist in real life and while patreon want you to think that adult games are just only smut but they are not. Most developer wants to actually express their creative freedom and character development without needing the sex always. What's good is pregnancy contents when game can't even show your children. Particularly, I don't know how deep is this new rule but it is utter bs.

Sure, but also, how many porns have had underage kids in an opening scene, had them leave, and then start the sex acts? Have you seen any porn where there were just random regular child actors in part of it?
None, Because that's porn? Do you really think porn videos have plot and choices? Porn videos doesn't continue for years to reach it ends also. There's a vast difference between games and only porns. These are also fictional characters in a fictional settings.
