Okay, this does explain a lot if the event itself is actually unfinished. Makes much more sense if there are scenes missing.
Actually, in this case, the Victoria tapping event is indeed finished. Like you, I thought there was something clearly missing at first. But after replaying it, I found that there were clues hinting at the exact moment the MC wiretaps Victoria.

Perhaps everything will come full circle at the end of the SOL case, where the MC will presumably reveal his plan to a dumbfounded Victoria. Maybe at that point, the MC will actually spell it out to Victoria that he did indeed use the injector on her. But for now, the clues are already there and there is nothing more to add to the existing "MC meets Victoria" scene.

On another note, one quest I do find unfinished is the Sage one.

The game visuals are really to my liking, i will certainly remember to play the complete release. I also liked the "gameplay" if one can call it so.

I am a few hours into the game. Really well done. This could be an opus if it weren't for the preponderance of abnormally large breasts on every single female character.

I understand that there are those that feel that motherly connection and need to see grossly exaggerated mammary containers. Hell, in some games it's just downright comical and adds to the fun, but this game is in my opinion more sophisticated and should better reflect reality. Unless I am missing something and I haven't progressed far enough yet to explain it.

Thus far every female character is sporting a D and higher cup. Even the nuns regardless of what is stated in the "investigation" screen. Perhaps Delialah (think that was her name, the red head 18 year old) is a C.

I dunno, I just feel in a game that is not purely humorous or goofy, in a game that has a solid story like this one it should better represent reality. Yeah, I get it, it has some supernatural nature to it. What is the last science fiction or apocalyptic movie that you have seen or commercial game that you have played where every female was a D cup without it being completely intentional for humor?

This game needs body variety and especially chest proportions that make logical sense. Age and ethnicity play factors in this. Yes, a young Asian girl can have a D cup, but its not common.

Bust size is not all that complicated. Two measurements come into play. The under-bust and the over-bust. The under-bust is a measurement around the rib cage. The over-bust is a measurement around the rib cage and over the breasts. The difference represents the cup size. So if the under-bust was 32" and the over-bust was 34" that would be a 32B bra size. Each inch difference represents a cup size. A=1" diff, B=2"diff, etc.

Tired of large breast sizes being portrayed as the norm. It's not the norm and it's not healthy. Go back 20 or 30 years ago, 36C was the standard. In no logical world can you sport a 42DDD and be physically athletic. It's not healthy or sexy. Yeah I know the sexy part is a matter of opinion, I get that. Opinion very much depends on a plethora of circumstances within ones existence. Upbringing, social trends, experience, family, culture, etc. Rudimentary primal instinct tells us to further the human race, to procreate effectively humans seek mates that are healthy, young, and vibrant. Humans typically although can be compassionate move past the "abnormal". This is innate. Just have to look at school experience to see this in action.

Emotion and desire are different things.

Anyway I am rambling.

Just would be nice to see variety in this phenomenal game.

And what is with the MC wearing a mask all the time? I am on the train sitting next to the younger Asian girl on my way to the church, nobody is wearing a mask but me... Why is that? Hope it's not a Covid thing. There is mention of it in the game.

Am I right in assuming that, when you interrogate the Sisters, you don't necessarily need all the evidence so long as you have enough to successfully blackmail them to agree to spy for you?

I remember a while back when a new update came out for this it was advised to hold off playing as it was some buggy beta one the dev didn't want released... I was waiting for it to pop up again but didn't see it, looking at it though it seems to be at a .5 now, so maybe I just missed it... is it a good time to fire this up again, or are there more bugfixes for the current content to wait for to get the best experience?

I too skipped 0.5 vanilla and only played 0.5.5. As usual some events are still not completed but as a whole it is worth playing. There's quite a bit of new content and the SOL case is developing very interestingly.

Not sure about that. I collected all the evidence before starting the interrogation. It's quite straightforward.

Thanks. Though there seems to be at least one clue (the Black Pearl related one from the casino) that's not yet implemented in the game, though when it comes to the interrogation it acts as if you've obtained it. That leaves me wondering how I can tell whether other clues that I'm missing (I think I have 9 out of 12) can be found somewhere, or are just not implemented yet and I shouldn't waste time trying to find them.

You can collect all 12 pieces of evidence. I said "Im not sure" in the sense that I dont know whether you can interrogate them successfully without all pieces of evidence, since I've only ever done it with all 12.

Which clue have you not obtained?

Thanks. I've now managed to obtain the clues that I was missing, so the point has become moot.

Looks like it. I may have to start a new game and opt to start with 3 power points instead of 3 brains points. Hopefully that will be enough to make climbing the ladder possible for me. Thanks for your help.
That worked. With 5 power points in all (1 from the cat and one from walking around the streets a lot looking for the bad guys), climbing the ladder became a piece of cake.

1 from the cat
Ahh that was the one I couldn't remember. From my experience just that one point was enough, but it's nice to hear you finally managed to climb the ladder. Might be worth looking into though, sadly the dev isnt as active in this thread anymore.

I did like this game a lot until I started the church quest. It feels a lot like it's promoting sexual violence... Is this game going further into this direction from that point on? I do like to see sexy bdsm scenes but it feels like the only way to see them is by being actually an abusive asshole. What are your thoughts on this? Is the game getting more evil from there on?

Man I couldn't disagree more. I think the SOL (Spear of Longinus) quest is easily the best part of the game. It has a serious tone, but mixes it with the best of the comedic elements the game has to offer.

The murder mystery, the conspiracy theories about the government, the Elsinger and Vanderbilt family; it all forms a very interesting quest. In terms of the whether the game gets "evil" from there on, I believe it's all up tp you. So far you can choose to fk Delilah or not, or blackmail Teresa with the photoshoot or not.

I do agree that the game gets really awesome at this point asides from this mental abuse stuff. Maybe I'm just too much of a softie for this.
My favorite parts of the game are the alien boob storyline and the romantic motorbike excursion at night. Feels like a hollywood movie.

Just read the in-game description of "Oedipus Rex". I wonder if it's just a coincidence that its themes sound so similar to those of "Deviant Anomalies" itself. :)

man i have a love/hate relationship with puzzles, at least give us a guide for idiots that cant solve stuff on their own (im the idiot btw), i saw that you said you like puzzles and hate vn cause it is boring but i just dislike wasting time walking around try to find stuff, it is okay for the first few mins but after awhile it just gets boring. just a feedback maybe do up a puzzle guide along the way when you are creating a puzzle for us because like the idiot i am, im stuck.

what should i do now that im in the crypt, i got the key in the safe but now im looking for some bait against the rat? i tried searching for keywords in this thread but no one got any issue with bait and i cant find a way to exit the crypt so im assuming it has to be here.

i like the story and characters & i really love the crime scene stuff (but i suck at it) thats why im posting and asking for help, im not bitching about puzzles since i know different people like different stuff. i dont mind trying out puzzles myself at the start but i just would really like easy access guide or walkthrough whenever i get stuck because i got stuck in this game quite a few times already.

just a suggestion, i was just thinking instead of trying to make clues "easier" or whatever, just take some screenshots and add some arrows or circle some clues and add everything in a pdf, bam solution. so you kinda give people an option in a sense that if they wanna solve it themselves they can or someone like me which needs help with puzzle could just refer to and enjoy the game. also i dont think a full guide is needed since the quest/side quest/character stories already tells you what to do next, which is great but seriously, puzzles that im sure im not the only people that needs help with

Someone produced a walkthrough for an earlier version that did exactly what you want, but unfortunately an updated version for v5.5 doesn't seem to have been produced.

Regarding the bait for the rat, you need two items, both of which can be found in the room with the
