From where you got the impression this is 90% completed? The 0.9 is just arbitrary version numbering. This is like 20% completed with multiple untied ends and endless new characters being introduced. Some girls get content update two years ago and is never touched on again. And the dev is famous for disappearing months in a row then announce fake release date to lure people into paying money, only to ghost on his patreon for weeks before giving them a buggy 10 mins update every 8 to 10 months. So abandoned tag goes to this scammy milker, well deserved.

why abandoned tag already? it's only been a few months. Did the dev come on here somewhere and say he wsa quitting?

I don’t think the dev checks anything but his Discord anymore and even there I’ve heard he isn’t too responsive. It’s sad as at one time I was a patron of his but started noticing his trademark pattern and quit subbing. His behavior aside, I thought the game would be great if he could’ve just focused and quit trying to create 50 characters at once. Unfortunately, even if he does update the game, the updates will be so sparse that the game will never be completed in our lifetime. F in chat I suppose.

Of course it can always be 'unabandoned' since its just the site tagging it, but as the person above said we probable won't get many updates even if we wait years.
Such a shame for a story that had a lot of potential, with imo really nice art and characters as well. Everything was so well done, hopefully one day the dev humbles themselves and realizes they can't do everything, at least not alone, and either make compromises or hire some people, if that's what it'll take.

Interesting the abandoned tag got slapped on here, despite not being close to a year since last update. I'm guessing its due to the second rule regarding no communication on any platform for 3+ months.

I mean it's not really surprising since the dev hasn't posted anything o patreon since February. If this eventually gets an update in the future I'll play it but for now I am unfollowing the thread.

Well, not a surprise. Dev became distant and update schedule speed kept on deteriorating without any reason. Content-wise, the main girls weren't getting any attention either.
One of the golden rules here " Don't get attached to any Dev/Game. Both of them can disappear anytime ". Enjoy what you have now and move on.

this was one of the first games I ever played on this site, sad to see the abandoned tag cause I thought it was good and had potential but ig it is what it is.

I agree with most people on the site... this is/was a good game with lots of potential.
Not gonna lie, sure, the game as well as Moolah has certain flaws - but I still enjoyed it for what it's worth and still had fond memories of playing it. Always a sad thing to see a game this big has to go.
I've never thought about that this game would be abandoned. It's one of my favorite games and it's also part of the reason that I came to this site. Still hope that in the future a new update will occur
whether or not any given dev follows the vers coventions, NORMAL programming convention is vers.01 for an initial "proof of concept" type release. Then .X for major updates, generally understood by default to be in approx 10% increments toward project completion. A game vers .53 for ex, would indicate approx 1/2 completed with 3 minor updates/bugfixes applied. Vers 1.0, indicates a completed project; possibly pending bug fixes, but intended content is done.
