Just look in the main menu, I'm pretty sure it is not displayed 0.40.7 on the bottom right ?

Except i havent changed anything yet. I litterally just DL'd and ran it.

Okay after trying both your releases, it's the pc version is borked, the mac version works. I usuaullyuse the PC version and run it through Renpy. So yeah, borked on your end

Haven't run into any major issues after the 0.40.7 patch. Only broke anything after I tried fucking with variables that I don't know the actual names of.

Slightly unrelated, how am I supposed to max out the income rate?

To use the patch you only need the same first two numbers.

So you can use the 0.40.7 directly on the 0.40.1.

Teaching gives you 2 income. You can also do paperwork in the lab office if Kara is not blued an you need to work a second time.
Training Frankie gives you 1 more.

Chrystal is the only one in need of a jewelled buttplug. Kara needs a medium sized and large buttplug.
all 3 are different items that satisfy different requirements.

I think the issue is the tooltip and the actual event text for objectifying Kara both say 'jeweled buttplug". But yes, it is actually the medium you need for the event.
