The problem is also that the creep points appear whether or not you do anything creepy, I tested this by being sa creep with Aubrey, walking in on her unannounced when she;s in the shower and also other places where you purposly look down her top etc... and the replaying it by knocking before entry etc... avoiding the creepy aspects and actually had 10 creep points instead of the 9 I got when I did creep on her, don't you see something wrong here

Well, because we haven't had anyone else with this issue, it seems isolated to only you right now. Which version of the game are you playing? Code Guy dropped an update to the game last night that addressed some of the point system. Did you download the old version, play and save and then downloaded the update and resumed with the old save? It's just really strange. Again, you're the only who has seemingly had this issue about the points. When Code Guy gets a chance, he'll look over the points and all. In the meantime, is it possible for you to send us your save? Might be easier to break it down that way.

Hey, Coding Guy here! The Creep points you're seeing there are intentional. Basically, each girl has a fairly neutral starting assessment of you (10 Lust, 10 Love, 10 Creep), although I adjust this for each girl based on her impression of you. Joyce starts out a little jaded and dismissive of you, for instance, because she only sees you at first as another guy to drain cash from, while Leah starts out a little more forgiving because she's always believed there was someone good in you.
As I stated earlier, don't take the point system too literally right now - it's a work in progress. We're trying to figure out exactly how we want it to operate, but if you assume for now that Creep of 10 is neutral, Creep of 8- is good, and Creep of 12+ is uncomfortable, you should have the right idea.

That makes sense in principle, but I'm just playing through the opening chapter and it's looking for Aubrey to have Creep scores like 0 in one check or less than 3 in another, which there are no way to achieve (without cheating).
Maybe that design decision (of having 10 be "neutral") wasn't in place yet when the first chapter was written?

That was actually why version 0.04.2 had to be made; I missed a bunch of the checks. Are you saying you found MORE checks for creep asking for 0 in v.0.04.2? If so, point 'em out and I'll fix 'em.

Nothing game-breaking, just minor dialogue stuff:
In 001 - Coming Home.rpy
line 489 assumes that you've just been checking her out if
aubrey_creep > 0line 1207 gives +1 to
aubrey_creep if it's >= 3The only way you can decrease her creep score before then is -1 through one of the dialogue choices after peeking on her in the shower, so min. creep score is 9 (if you don't peek at all it'll still be stuck on 10).
I haven't checked for others, those were just the two I spotted in passing.

No need to send me the save. Those points are unavoidable. Getting to 0 Creep might be possible a dozen updates from now. Just view a creep range of 8-12 as Neutral.

Sure, no bother. While you're at it, you may want to have a look at the conditions on day 003, around lines 1953-1963: You're calling the same variable (
d3_daddys_lil_cumslut) several times in a way that doesn't really make sense.I thought it a bit odd that the only way to get the sex scene with Joyce on day 002 was if you had the bad end on day 001, but am assuming that's working as intended.

Yeah, that part is working as intended. She's kinda the reward if you play the douchebag line which is intended for bad things to happen to the MC later because of that. We haven't necessarily gotten to the bad things just yet.....but we're getting there

Yep, that definitely happens. Code-blindness is real and it's destroying families.
One last thing: On day 004, around lines 2291-2296, the MC tells Leah he saw Sarah naked regardless if he did or not. That should probably be gated behind an
if d4_sar_peek == True with an alternate line or two to bridge the gap if not True.

It was pretty constructive, which I appreciate. I'm glad you wrote because I've been wondering if there were anyone who played the initial release and didn't touch til about now. I know things were shaky when we first dropped the game. We've gone through and redid a lot....still some stuff I want to re-render.
The criticism you mentioned about the animation angles is very fair. We've been called out on that before, lol. Everyone at least has been very understanding on that front. Most of the time, the angles are the way they are to hide the part that isn't working well. Some of the animations are not built for every model, so there is quite a bit of going back through and editing. Some are easy, some not so much. Trying to get better on that end...if it's an animation I created from scratch, normally you see everything or I try to get in as much as I can. If I'm using something from renderotica, that's normally where some of the issues come into play. Normally each animation is like at least 200 frames, going back and editing one frame by frame isn't so bad as long as it isn't multiple things, but when you have quite a few animations and it's like 5 or 6 things per frame you have to edit, you tend to go down the path of least resistance. I've been learning though how to better use some of the assets from renderotica, so hopefully we'll be able to showoff more.
