For me most of ren'py games are boring it's just clicking and watching, in my opinion rpgm fits better for this game.

For me RPGM is like watching TV, after every good scene there is a long boring comercial or in the games case a walk through the whole city to find the next scene^^

Renpy games are like watching Netflix. Enjoy it all in one go and you may even have some time to watch another episode^^

Also you can just stop and start where you left of and rewind a scene without much trouble.

But it in the end comes all down to preferences.
If you like RPGM good for you, but most(not all) of the people here don't share the opinion.
Thats why you see tons of RPGM to Renpy ports but no Renpy to rpgm ports^^

Bravery is an interesting thing. You only feel brave after you have done the thing, not before, not during. I would say that Devin wants to be brave and if you choose the correct options and help her along the way, she will get the chance to feel brave.

Just remembered it, she punched Jen in the face one (or was it two?) updates ago... Also thinking about it, that scene could have been a nice place to put a choice (to punch or not to punch).

I'm not sure if I will have time for all that. Maybe after the game is done and the first half is converted and everything.

For the previous girls Henry tricked you could add their story outside the game (in the menu the option would be locked until Devin finds out in story) and while in the game we only see her making some comment then they could be seen from the main menu. Also as they aren't in the game you could work on them as side-content (or even making them min-playable).

They could also be put as a reward in patreon or something like that, and as they aren't in the game, in the sense that's not necessary to have them completed for the story to progress you could work on them slowly.

Also, speaking about Henry, would we ever see him spanking Devin? Although the content/scenes wouldn't be very different to those of Farsin doing it I think this could even be worse for Devin as it's Henry spanking her (and she still considers him a good person no?).

Thinking about it Jessica doing at school as punishment for Devin failing to do something school related would also be pretty good. Or well, Jess doing it in general.




I haven't played this update yet (dammed college exams), but I've looked some images and I've seen Devin wearing the Slut collar again, will it return in the next update (if this is answered in the update please spoil me)?

Good ideas Androide. Devin did punch Jennifer, but that was out of passion/hatred. It was a spur of the moment instant not what I would consider bravery. Maybe... But What I have planned is more, interesting that just a split moment reaction.

I don't think we will ever see Henry Spank Devin. Maybe, but I'm trying to keep each person that Devin intersects with have their own story arch.

That seems really interesting. Will it be possible for us as Devin help one or another? Like Devin knows all the results are bad for her, but she ends choosing one about the others because it'd be 'less' bad for her in this case that would probably be Cole (he's stupid, without the rest she can escape from him) or Dave (he treats her well).

Actually, it'd be really funny if there ends up being a Cole route where Cole wins Devin (and in the process ends up taking revenge over Jen (like fucking her in the ass, something she never let him do)) although not very realistic.

Honestly, I was more about the consequences (maybe she starts to think that she really has a problem) it'd have for Devin to be spanked (or, well, punished in general) by someone she trusts than the spanking in general. And with Jen it was more about position reversal and public humiliation than the spanking in general (because for a teacher to be punished in class by an alum should be extremely humiliating).

It's not about gameplay but about decision making(at least for me).
I honestly hate gameplay mechanics in a VN. Summertime Saga for exemple was the game that brought me to F95 and i loved it.
But by god, i hate those minigames that i have to use my keyboard for.
If i have to use more than one hand to play a VN other than to type some names for chars there is already something wrong(for me)^^

Even some fake decisions that don't really change anything can immerse people into the story of a VN.

For me renpy is all about playing comfortable. With renpy i can save whenever i want middle in a scene, i can roll back if i clicked too fast and read what i missed and i can fuck around with the console if i messed up some decisions or if i wanna skip grinding.

If i want gameplay i start up a real game(AAA) not a porn style VN^^
In porn VN's the only "gameplay" happens with the hand that is not on the mouse

I understand what you're saying and partly agree with you. RPG maker games that have the spot you need to go to the farthest spot to get to are annoying. Some games work really well in RPG maker, games that use the battle system for example.

Same with Ren'Py, if the story is shit and all you're doing is holding down ctrl, than its not a game. My hopes is that most people like the story of Devin's life to actually read the story. I also try and cut out the BS content that drags on and on with no fun pictures. Sure there needs to be plot, but I would rather have more h-scenes and less plot than to much plot and nothing to enjoy.

I know a few people liked RPG maker better, but Ren'Py is a better platform IMO, and it much, much easier to program in and saves me a load of time. So, there is no going back at this point.

If Devine stand in front of castle with her school-class and enter the door " in rpgm " or the casino first time, it have some special tension and you can´t bring this emotion for the player in ren´py. This is a great game in both engine that´s importent. I don´t judge between rpgm or ren´py both has there own advandage and disadvandage. The game make all sence on the end.

hmm, I really liked this game while Devin herself voluntarily chose to participate in all this dirt. but when she was forced, I was very upset.
and somewhere around version 0.4 I got the idea, that one of the endings could be like this:
Devin - fuck this shit! gets drunk, goes into the booze and after a some days finds himself living with the homeless Bob. he shares his drink with her, she gave up in the fight against this crazy society and she first saw some kindness and they start living together. "semi-happy" ending at the bottom of society. (no forced, no rape)
