I've never been a big fan of animated scene's in other games. So, no. I haven't added any in Devin's Life, just still images.
What do you guys thing? It is worth the effort to add in animations?
One of the issues is all the pre-made animations other game use are sure vanilla. There aren't many bdsm animations. Most of the scene's in the game are custom.

For me it adds little value, I'd rather see time spent in continuing with the story. If I want to see something move I'll head over to pornhub.

Totally agree... animations take up a lot of resources & time that non-professional developers (not a large company for example) that would slow game development to a trickle. I pretty much do the same as Logic suggested - if I want to see a movie, I'll go to a movie site!!
I'm not a fan of animations either. I'd prefer more stills with variations in positions rather than animation, and then you can use the remaining render time to make more story-advancing stills.
I generally only play games with animations in, i looked through the reviews and a few people on the second page mention it has animations lol, ill come and check this out when its finished still as i do like HS rendered games, especially female protags that get corrupted

This author does not know where to stop. Everything is cool at the beginning and than it turns to trashy rape-coprophilic bdsm shit with little meaning. And the guy having 1 metre long dick is also too over the top. Just erotic humiliation with believable plot would be enough.

oh man. so good to see this back. crazy, over the top, mean and brutal. i love it, just excellent.
i wouldn't worry about animations unless you have all kinds of time on your hands. if you have all kinds of time on your hands, i'd think finishing translation of whole game into renpy would be a better use of it. at this point, full game into renpy might get it more attention.
i hope Devin's sister coming to stay is also still in the works. not sure how i like the student/teacher swap, and i think its cute Stephan and Lora are still on Devin's side. =) although if we can bring out the inner perv in Stephan, all kinds of potential for fun there. also not sure about that cliffhanger ending, but looking forward to see where it goes.

Animation are if the are done well an addition to the game, but always need a loot of time to do it right. Otherwise it is in best case only wasted time and in worst case even diminish the overall impression of the game itself.
Also if you have free time to spend, I also believe a finishing the translation to RenPy would be more beneficial to it. It is the reason I myself haven't played it yet.

I do not think that Devin is stupid... at least not much more of the other characters
(sadism is one of the things that exist specially in young guys and girls... specially in the childish age)
