Update?? I don't even remember when it last had update. 6 months ago? Year ago? And this update has 3 events added. That's what? Like 2 minutes worth or gameplay after 6-12+ months. Just abandon or quit this game already. Played it long time ago. Now. Not worth to try even.

Sorry for the long delay everyone but Chapter 5 of Dog Days is now live.

This should bring everything up to the party with Rebecca which will be the next update.

The absents was not intentional but this kicked my butt for some weird reason, and I just took the I have to buckle down and do it approach.

Two questions on the update:

1. Making a choice during the haircut seems to get remembered on previous saves as well as the rollback. Is that a bug or intentional? If it's intentional, it's pretty frustrating as the player to be forced to start a new playthrough just to see the other options.

2. The choice to "help" evaline with the paper still results in cheating. Is that also intended? Why can't there be an option to help with the paper, that doesn't result in cheating?

EDIT - It seems like other choices are remembered too. When I try to go back to a save and choose to "Not go to the club" after playing "Going to club with Mom" the game still follows the path of going to the club with mom, the shopping scene is still played.

I have most of the next MLS update written, I just need to do the renders. Meanwhile I will start writing the party for DDoS. I have most of this month off from work so with any luck I will make some good progress.

to 1 yes that is intentional. Tara said you get one question so you only get one question. But I was nice and let you start a new game to ask again, though I did consider not even then.

for 2 I'm not sure what you mean. That Harper accuses you of cheating if you help her, yes that is intentional because she is trying to blackmail you.

for the part with mom if I am understanding correctly that might be a carry over from an old save where there was a bug. If you start a new game and it is still there let me know because that is a problem and needs to be fixed.

I work in a research lab and the Director and most of the scientist are doing conferences for the next six weeks so when I go in on sunday to do the last batch of samples that is all there is until they get back.

Based on the version number, the new one hasn't caught up with the original yet, right?

The version number goes chapter and number of updates, so this is chapter 5 update 1, so 0.5.1. But no it has not caught up. This is everything leading up to Rebecca's party. But there is a lot of new content that has been added. This is not a graphical rework but a story as well. Also the party will go differently then id did in the original and from the party on it will be fully new content nothing from the original at that point with the exception of probably the Harper scene.
