No, to continue the story sometimes you have to hustle and reach certain money goals.
I'd say play it for a couple minutes and see if you can ignore all the questionable moral implications about this game.
This game really isn't a game about prostitution and it would be unfair to the game's art, animation, soundtrack, voice acting and other stuff to reduce it to that.
Essentially the core gameplay is a very simple jrpg and the story is about misfits trying to overthrow a mega corporation ruling over the city.

This game is a hidden gem. I'm not ashamed to admit I spent way too many hours playing it for the past two days.
Anything by AliceSoft that has a mosaic should be insta banned. Never gonna play this unless uncensored. Heck if these kind of adaptations are encouraged they will end up ruining my childhood. Seriously what will come next Censored Race XI ?? MASSIVE THUMBS DOWN TO MOSAIC !!!!! Alicesoft I bought 3 Rance games and Evencile. Don't ruin yourself. Manga Gamer FTW

You'll need to download Locale Emulator.
Extract the archive, then drag dohnadohna_eng.exe on LEProc.exe.
Uncensoring isn't possible, though.

That's a worse crime then any pornography.
To put that much skill and effort into making a game look that nice,
and then mosaic it.
I'll paint the Mona Lisa,
and then dump a jug of brown paint over it.
You have to imagine the original file is on a computer somewhere.
What stops Japanese devs from just releasing those few files somewhere else?
Some kind of bushido honor system or something?

I really love the game and art style but damn, it's grindy AF at late game. Like, your friends get absolutely destroyed by machine gunners and other AoE type attacks. Also leveling your friends take a very long time, Which gets boring real quick.
Classic Alicesoft, Evenicle was also grindy too. I mean we're playing a porn game not FF14. I wish there was an option to tone down the absolute massacre they enforce at you.

You should give "Eiyuu Senki The World Conquest" or Eiyuu Senki Gold a try. It's a strategy JRPG. The artwork is great and the gameplay is good. If you want another japanese eroge game with good artwork then you could try "Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque".

You can use items freely before entering a combat tile in the labyrinth. Use a couple of MP items on your party and you'll be good to go.
