Assuming this issue can't be solved with the tried and true savedata to read only and japanese locale then idk man, try unzipping the file again or getting a copy from a different file hoster to see if they do better

I spent the last two days writing a script to carefully compare and match the original Shiravune censored CG with the uncensored CG provided by Darkdeads - only to then realize that really the only CG that need to be uncensored are the H-scenes CG and the gallery thumbnails for said H-scenes, which are just 822 images total, compared to the +14k images I've had this thing run through, oh well...

The uncensored CG seem to be from either an (official?) uncensored Chinese release or done by some very committed chinese fans. There's some uncensored CG that looks pretty much flawless while there's also a few that look quite sloppy, containing overlay errors, like those mentioned by Doc4, and if you look very closely you can also find remnants of the pixelated bits, suggesting this really is more of a decensor rather than an uncensor. There's also a small number of CG that is still censored, I assume they did so on purpose or they... forgot? Edit: The uncensored CGs are indeed redraws by chinese artists.

I manually fixed those I noticed had overlay errors and also replaced the chinese body writing on ALyCE's CG with the japanese body writing, just for the sake of consistency - it's a shame that Shiravune didn't redraw these with English text.

I didn't look too much into the patched uncensored dohnadohnaCG.afa file provided by kolomoner, but I think that other than the gallery thumbnails, the black CG (mentioned by SephAeternum), and the aforementioned fixes I manually did, there probably isn't anything else different.

Just drop it in the game's folder and overwrite the existing file.
Updated (13th May 2022): Fixed some more CG errors, including one that was repeated (meaning one was missing).
Updated (5th September 2022): Fixed some CGs that were in an incorrect order. (See #940)

I'm also curious why the game seems to cost $15 more on Johren for a DRM-protected copy than the DRM-free versions on other sites like JAST.

2: Maybe the download itself got corrupted along the way, try switching browsers and/or turning off any vpns or download managers you might have

The patch only seems to be available on rapidgator and idk how to download that without going 1 byte per hour; so can't really test.

Problem: failed to save file afcgmode (and similar errors)

Solution: right-click the SaveData folder, click "Properties", uncheck "Read-Only", click "Apply".

It's in the installation part of the first post.
TLDR - someone did a royal fuck up when uploading this game and made the config/save folders 'read only'... you need to remove that tick itself in folder properties and all will be good.


10 is maximum, you are free to dump unique girls after their event completions.
In fact most of them are just garbage when you realize how the hustle system works..
All you need from any girl is essentially having 3 traits that give +300/300/200 mental while also giving a total of +200 looks to infinitely maintain the girl.. then give her some looks increase items and you are done with the girl.(besides maintaining pregnancy protection)
This requires quite a lot of days and/or savescumming mostly.
As far as pure stats go - starting ones barely matter, especially for unique girls who sometimes will get 'punished' during their scene unlock.. for example getting the most terrible title in the game or having to lower her to X stat.
They will still be your main go to most likely though unless you are hunting a lot, but remember that for each girl you decide to keep permanently - you also want to ensure that you can supply her with pregnancy pills.

Delete the SaveData folder, the game will create the folder again next time you open it.
