Is not booting up your own game also a way to say "fucking up your code and be thrown back for days or weeks" when most of the releases, you can quite literally be softlocked 30 seconds in normal gameplay because you merely have done what Deka can't do with his own game (aka booting it up?).

The guy literally deserves no empathy. If it was any other dev, I might give him the benefit of the doubt, but Deka's monument to the Femdom games community has been built on incompetence and tapissed with countless lies. The day he cares, he'll have my respect.

By the way, please don't give me the "it's not a project where deadlines are kept at all costs and it's a hobby". The guy quite literally has "New Domina every 45 days" on his Patreon and pretended to be a big shot game dev, having a great team, a brand new studio, all the time and focus to work on the game whilst in truth, he's just some dude making a porn game on RPG Maker. I ain't making this up, that's Deka himself who lied to his patrons about all this shit.

Okay reads like you had your past with him, I started with 9.0 so I can't complain much above it. I can understand your frustration above waiting to long for new content and reading to many excuses very good but on the other hand he served us a great game that I wouldn't want to miss in my collection.

As I said before, I agree with you that he should improve his communication with the community and be more honest about progress. But again i wouldn't rant that much above promises made, you can play his game for free and the support is on a voluntary basis as far i could see there is no content behind paywalls. If you are not satisfied by his work just don't support him.

Actually, in the first post, there's a warning saying that the developer does not condone sharing the Patreon exclusive content, which includes the game itself (the game is uploaded by F95zone upload team). Therefore, it can be said that the game is actually intended to be "behind a paywall" (Patreon), and the only reason why we can play it for free is because F95zone will share it regardless of Dekarous' complaining about it.

Also, in the spoiler under the Overview section, you will find this:
1.0 includes the first world, the Realm of Dusk, completed. Every update after this will include the next world and its new Domina.
DISCLAIMER: 1.0 and its bugfixes are free, the next updates will be patron only.

So, the only truly free release is 1.0, which features Katrina's realm. All other releases are not intended to be free.

I do agree that gamedev is often underestimated. Even RPG Maker games are not exactly easy to be done (especially if we are talking about good games). It is a multidisciplinary work, which involves programming, artistic work, storytelling and so on. When you put lot of simple things together, it becomes a complex work.

However, people are not wrong when they complain about Dekarous, as there are a lot of gamebreaking glitches from past releases that are still in the game (I think that glitch that happens when you enter a wrong door in Franziska and breaks the game still happens).

And well, that ~45 days per release is still in his Patreon, the last release was about 8 months ago and the next one is not even supposed to bring the next Domina. He should at least remove that sentence from his Patreon, as it was far from accurate in the last 3 years.

I agree that Dekarous is (probably) the most responsible of Domina's delays, but the only reason I don't completely agree with you about Shakie is because I don't know if she is working in other projects besides Domina. If she does, that would be a valid reason for her to be overloaded (2D arts are somewhat hard to make, there's a reason why most games uses Daz renders or Illusion assets; if Domina is not her only commitment, it could give us a another reason for "why so much delays?").

Since the probability of Dekarous pushing his lack of commitment in the artist's behalf is far above from zero, I simply can't say a thing about Shakie's part in the release's delay. There's just not enough information for it.

I quit supporting after supporting this guy for almost two years...

Delay after delay after delay. Bugged content after bugged content that showed he doesn't even play his own game before sending out the updates.. and then you get a patch fix for a bug that just adds more bugs. These aren't rare bugs.. these are literally bugs in the games own progression line and CGs. You couldn't even see Hora's bedroom when the update was sent. And then even after that patch at least one of her slave CGs were even bugged and misaligned with the screen.

This doesn't even include the bugs with Ra, the bugs with Frankiza, the bugs with...

Welcome to the Domina fandom. I agree with your comments about needing to take it easy in Deka and to be grateful for what we have. Deka is a newbie dev who's project blew up too fast for his skills to keep pace. That is to say we should be thankful Domina exists rather than unhappy that it has bugs, delays, and other imperfections. That said, that is not to say there isn't room for legitimate criticism. The biggest problem of which is his lack of transparency. I don't think anyone would have a problem if he came out and said he over-promised in the beginning when he said "One Domina every 45 days".

Sadly, your frustration is more than understandable. Those bugs range from inconvenient to making the game literally unplayable at times.

When my milk expires, I make sure to hate Deka a tiny bit extra for it.

Edit: I can confirm I hate him more right now.

Also, for the people why lost heros are not spawning in the games final boss area up to date, you need to kill enemys in the first area, or they wont spawn
