i would say the sooner he makes a descision the better less stuff you have to change down the line if a change is made earlier

| Probably, just a couple of people see something they don't like and they have to squish it like a bug... would be nice if just once a dev could make their game and if we like it great if not on to the next. I guess it depends on the dev's goals if they are financial then yeah you are definitely right if it's just a hobby and the $$ isn't the issue then he will find his fan base. Either way unless we want to make our own game/vn we will just have to wait and see what happens. |
iv never worked on a game or even know where to start i would just think a descision like that would be better if made now than if he releases 3 more updates then wants to change something then you have more content you have to go through to make sure things make sense.

Taking the suggestions into consideration, I decided to add another piece of the plot to this version 0.1. It's an important piece of information that was missing and perhaps this was a big mistake. But like I said, it's okay to not get it right the first time.
The new songs are also ready and will be implemented.

The biggest issue with this game for me is that every single character is a complete and utter shitpiece. Not one redeeming quality to be found. There's no one to root for here...except for maybe an oncoming meteor aimed straight at the MC's house to take out all these garbage humans at the same time.

If this game isn't focused on NTR, but the aspect that tear our MC apart, what is the end goal? Love? Cause as you just said, that's out of the window with these "piece of shits." I think people would like the game a lot more if it was a revenge story. That way we dont' have to care about the characters.
If this is a story based game where we are supposed to care about MC's interactions with the Female characters, it's definitely starting off on the wrong foot.
Maybe I misunderstood something though, so feel free to correct me, but this game isn't turning into a harem or romance any time soon, so my interest is low.

The MC's LI (not his girlfriend) is apparently in a relationship with another guy we haven't met yet but also secretly banging the MC's best friend.

I hate to say it, but the game as written is no fun to play. I don't like anyone. That's problematic to say the least, as there's no emotional investment. The MC is a pudgy, delusional dumb ass with no self respect or spine. He has no redeeming qualities, he's just there to be walked on. And then you throw that curve ball of a kitchen scene at us...
We should be playing as THAT guy (male best friend). It would make a lot more sense for him to want to throw a monkey wrench in Amanda's traveling/relationship plans. From a narrative/creative standpoint, think of all the doors a simple shift in character could open. Now as a player, we'd have more to do than party planning. We'd have to keep our affair a secret from both Amanda's boyfriend and our best friend.
There would be the backstory of how and why it happened, and Sadie could be there for more than the cliche of wanting her ex back. She could be there to to kill Ronnie's pipe dream and kill his friendship to us as she knows we're messing with Amanda. She could even try blackmailing us etc. This is a game I'd like to play.
Again, as written, Ronnie's wanting to get with Amanda comes off as nothing but wishful thinking on his part. If we can't take the MC seriously, how do you expect us to believe that Amanda would? And as psychotic as Sadie is, I don't see what she sees in him either...

One suggestion for the developer, let’s eliminate the domestic violence content (man on woman violence or vice versa). We can all agree that it’s just wrong and non value add.
