And now TWO Sad faces! You earned it man!View attachment 477579
So I just took a look at the OP and realized that with the exception of one "sad face", 1,021 people have played this game and enjoyed it enough to leave a 'like' of some sort.
That is incredibly flattering. So quick thanks to everyone that played the game, all the people who liked the OP, and all the people who have left feed back. And huge thank you to all of you that come over and decided to drop a dollar or more to support the project.
I just want you all to know you have my gratitude.
Cheers!
I don't know if it's commitment or just plain old stubbornness. Whatever it is, it'll see this game through eventually.Talk about commitment. Kudos to the dev. The current one ended abruptly, but it's solid.
I take everything with a grain of salt. No worries. But I'm glad you enjoyed the game and I hope you continue to do so as new material comes out. I always appreciate honest feedback and knowing what is working in the story and what isn't.Free is free if you don't like it fuck off. No one is forcing you to play it. I liked it. Edit* Sorry didn't realize it's your game and you was being sarcastic.
Yeah, he's a real dick. His communication sucks too!
Or the dev is spending way to much time around here on this thread instead of developing his game...
Fortunately no one had to die for me to show up here. But I do kill time between test renders to catch up on the thread, emails and discord. You shitting me? You know how many people have to DIE first before we get that kind of community interaction from EA or something?!
Besides, and this is an assumption I grant you, rendering takes awhile... can do both.
Well the fact is development is this slow, and I never asked you for any money. So now that we got that cleared up. I also don't think I'm misunderstood or a genius. I just like to write porn in the scant hours between raising a family and working a full time job. If people want to support me in that, it's awesome and I do everything I can to show my gratitude as often as possible. But I don't beg and I don't hold my game hostage. I have an open console, unlocked code, and even go out of my way to help players with any and all questions. I respond to every email, post and inquiry sent my way and I never turn down honest feedback, from patrons and non patrons alike. If that makes me a prima donna, then so be it.My dear, I really don't care, as long as development is so slow he will surely not get my money. If devs are more and more starting to behave like some kind of prima donnas and misunderstood geniuses, than we will just keep our money and wait for leaks. Fair enough...
I agree! I am obligated to listen, I'm just not obligated to give a serious response.what do you mean devs are contractually obligated to listen to random people who do get to comment on their stuff for free.
I take all player feedback into account and listen respectfully. When a person's feedback is just "work faster, longer, harder", well then get sarcastic. But if you have honest feedback that I can use to make the game better, then by all means, send it my way. A lot of great ideas have come from players and it makes the game better.i'm retired , i wish i had some extra cash to help out these dev.'s with making their games .. all i can do is play them and give my opinions about them .. like thats worth a crap ...
Wow! Thank you, that's hella praise. I appreciate you playing the game and taking the time to share your thoughts.j"I stood there like a half drunk deer in headlights hoping that teenagers were like T-rexes...
...if I don't move they won't see me"
Fucking classic line, I burst out laughing when I read that, that's one of those superbly clever lines with perfect delivery that are all too rare; it seems the majority of 3d games are made by non-native English speakers. I can normally tolerate awkward word choice and sentence structure, but non-native translators generally don't have the vocabulary and knowledge of cliches and common terms that is necessary to come up with lines like the above.
Also loved the deliberately bizarre explanation(s) for how MC appears to have a daughter as a potential sexual partner, but OH WAIT it's okay, that's my along with the fact the exact wording changes from one sentence to the next; Patreon content crackdowns have made "roommate", "landlady" and the like into transparent liability shields that fool no one. There's no good way to write backstory for a familial/incestuous relationship minus blood relation, kinda misses the appeal of IC content to begin with... poking fun at this silly transparent jury-rigged solution to censorship is the best way to approach it.
Well done with the tone and mood of the game, nice variety of models that I don't recognize from elsewhere, Cassie has become one of my fav characters on this site; she has a perfect mix of sweetness+vulnerability counterbalanced by self confidence+independence. And her model makes my eyes pop out like the Looney Toons "Ahhhhh OOOOOOOOOO Gah!!!!" response. Recommend a playthrough.
I'll be interested to see if you're still singing my praises after I'm done working on Amanda and Cassie.Roman's writing has been fantastic indeed. I already mentioned this to him, but i'm usually the kinda guy who doesn't pay that much attention to the normal dialogue in these games. But the recent stuff he has put in has got me all fired up even before anything lewd even happened and now i'm just enjoying the casual conversations so much more than i could've ever imagined.
The character models are indeed very nice, i'm just absolutely in love with Amanda and Cassie is a close second. I just hope he eventually gets any help he needs with the development and doesn't overload himself.
There was an official guide for awhile but keeping up with that and everything else just became too much when I became a one man team. All of my script and code is accessible, I'm just waiting to see if some enterprising soul chooses to take up that task and use it to make a guide. There are simpler games have a more detailed guide. This game needs a detailed walkthrough, especially for consequences and routes. What is explained helps a bit over the character, no more.
This is pretty much true.Yeah that's my understanding too, just do a blue and red playthroughs. Only thing different are the black choices for certain characters that clearly state that they terminate future sexual stuff with them.
Sounds like you've hit the end of the content. In future releases I have an end of content flag that will pop up and notify you when you hit the end. I just didn't think to do that this time around. I apologize for the confusion.i onluy see 1 chapter and now no more choices available?
I do care quite a lot. I enjoy making the game but I want others to enjoy it as well. And I don't discriminate between patrons and non-patrons. Good ideas come from everywhere. And you're right, I may not act on every suggestions, but I do take it all under advisement and if a suggestion isn't right for the game or the time, I'll take a moment to explain why.I mean... this particular dev does appear to care more than others.
Just don't expect every opinion to get addressed with a change to the game and you'll be fine.
I know they've personally addressed some issues i've had and given feedback on others' suggestions.
I always take constructive criticism. When people simply suggest I just work harder and faster, well, I just let that go. I'm doing the best I can with the time I have. It is what it is.Specially opinions that sound more like demands. Those usually end up getting some deserved burn...hehehe
Constructive criticism is worth.
I'm hoping that with this next update I'll have fixed all of those. I made a couple passes with the last release and a few still slipped under the radar. Next time you play, if you're inclined, feel free to just make a note where this occurs and send it to me and I'll get it fixed for the next go around. Is there a way you can fix the random times you keep getting call Rodger from the Npc's?
Oh don't worry. You'll be definitely getting my brutally honest and unfiltered feedback after all that is done.I'll be interested to see if you're still singing my praises after I'm done working on Amanda and Cassie.
I like to keep my images and script files together for organizational purposes.Yea guess I could do that myself, well if I can find the file lol
Edit: Cant find all the files I been waiting to play this game I'll just keep waiting until next update.
And we're happy to have you here!Came for the game, stayed for the comments.
The face thing was by request, some people like it. But I admit that for all the game's strengths, the sex scenes are my greatest weakness. I've improved it some with the sex menu system, but even that needs some more meat to it.I love this game but the things I hate is the timed animation when the image changes after a few seconds. Why not make it not timed and to move forward the player would click the mouse or press enter. Also why focus on the face during sex animation? it's such a let down especially with lita. Hope the developer changes these
Hey, sometimes this old dog just has to pet himself. It feels gooooooooood.reported for self liking
No worries. Unfortunately, these files seem to be lost. Fecal can't find them on his computer and they weren't on the portable hard drive that he gave me with all the assets. I've decided not to worry too much about it because I want to go back and re-do those sex scenes to make use of the menu system in due time. So most of those are going to get re-rendered with some additional positions and such. I'll keep what's there, but add some new things to it.RomanHume While you're here, a question came to mind and I don't know how to search for that properly so I'll just ask:
Any news on the "yeah, I upscaled to 1920x1080 and the animations would have to be redone - I need to check if I have the source material" front?
Don't wanna stress, I'm just curious...
Besides that, are you doing well?
Oh, sorry, I didn't address this part. I'm very well. The real job sucked me away to Texas right before the holidays so I had to go deal with that and got back just in time to see the family for a couple of days.Besides that, are you doing well?
Thought I would address this post separately since it was in depth and touched on a lot of points. What about for one who used to support the dev? I was a patron a year ago, but I dropped it. Why? Because the dev keeps going over the same ground. This time last year, the dev had just remade the game and posted that he thought he could maintain a pace of two updates a month. Since then, there have been three updates, if memory serves. Instead the dev has introduced a layered image system, overhauled the sex mechanics, and was considering moving from Daz Studio to Blender for rendering. I haven't been following this game very closely since I dropped my pledge, but I believe there have as many tech demos released in the past year as game updates.
I understand that the dev lost his team. It's admirable the dev wants to deliver the best experience possible, but I dropped my pledge because the dev is spending too much time tinkering with things that aren't broken. It's important the the dev learn from making the game and use those lessons to become a better dev, but those lessons should be applied to the next game. There comes a time when you decide things are good enough and push forward and advance the development. I enjoyed the game; I like the characters; I was looking forward to seeing the story unfold. In the end, though, I just lost faith that any meaningful progress would be made. The dev would find something else to tinker with instead. To those who do choose to support the game, good for you. To RomanHume, good luck. As for me, every few months I might get curious as to whatever happened with this game and take a peek. If I see actual progress, I might even pledge again.
Ooh, what part? The real job sucked me away to Texas right before the holidays
Fort Worth area. Sadly I don't get to see much while I'm there except for the offices, the warehouses and the hotel. One day I might get to see Texas proper, but it'll probably be on my own dime.Ooh, what part?
<- near Austin
I'll try to help as best I can, though I'm not on a mac.Not sure if I'm understanding the instructions for installation and patching right or not. I'm on a Mac. I checked out the bugfix post and it mentioned copying and replacing the "game" folder with the bugfix "game" folder first. After that, I then copy and pasted the new incest patch folder and the zz_patch.rpy file into the game folder. But now the game doesn't open and mentions it can't find the label "start". Am I patching the game wrong? I'm just going based off the instructions provided in the incest patch/post.
There's not much in the FW area anyway. Some historical sites and a Stadium. The rest really is warehouses.Fort Worth area. Sadly I don't get to see much while I'm there except for the offices, the warehouses and the hotel. One day I might get to see Texas proper, but it'll probably be on my own dime.
i'm from springtown ,, just about 45 miles nw of fort worth ... what a small worldI have spent a fair amount of time in Dallas/Fort Worth and I will second visiting San Antonio if you get a chance, I was there on one business trip and things like the River Walk and of course the Spurs are things to see. If you want a tourist type of experience then a visit to The Alamo might also be in order.
Hey, I had a random thought, I was playing around with Dream Home and thought the basement would be a perfect location for a Sex Dungeon. With the only access through the garage you could keep a sex slave there without anyone in the rest of the home knowing about it.
I tried replacing the original game folder with just the patched version game folder but that seems to give me the same error. Thanks for reaching out though!I'll try to help as best I can, though I'm not on a mac.
First off, I want to ask if the bug fix patch works without the incest patch? If you just install the bug fix patch, does the game fire up, or do you still get an error?
I'm gonna throw this question out to everyone here then, does anyone have any experience or knowledge of patching the Mac version of the game? I've only ever been able to test things on PC so I really can't say for sure whether or not just merging the folders works on Mac.I tried replacing the original game folder with just the patched version game folder but that seems to give me the same error. Thanks for reaching out though!
I can't speak for Mac but the if you followed the instructions i do know it works fine for PC with no error.I tried replacing the original game folder with just the patched version game folder but that seems to give me the same error. Thanks for reaching out though!
