I have spent a fair amount of time in Dallas/Fort Worth and I will second visiting San Antonio if you get a chance, I was there on one business trip and things like the River Walk and of course the Spurs are things to see. If you want a tourist type of experience then a visit to The Alamo might also be in order.

Hey, I had a random thought, I was playing around with Dream Home and thought the basement would be a perfect location for a Sex Dungeon. With the only access through the garage you could keep a sex slave there without anyone in the rest of the home knowing about it.
i'm from springtown ,, just about 45 miles nw of fort worth ... what a small world (y)

I'll try to help as best I can, though I'm not on a mac.

First off, I want to ask if the bug fix patch works without the incest patch? If you just install the bug fix patch, does the game fire up, or do you still get an error?
I tried replacing the original game folder with just the patched version game folder but that seems to give me the same error. Thanks for reaching out though!

I'm gonna throw this question out to everyone here then, does anyone have any experience or knowledge of patching the Mac version of the game? I've only ever been able to test things on PC so I really can't say for sure whether or not just merging the folders works on Mac.

Anyone got any experience in this area? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't speak for Mac but the if you followed the instructions i do know it works fine for PC with no error.

I can only assume this means you've made a mistake somehow. Try a fresh install of this version, see if the game launches.
If it does then add only the bug fix. Copy the folder and Overwrite the existing /game/. Don't delete it, just copy/paste to the same location. Launch the game again, see if it works. If it works great, then you can repeat this step but copy over the incest patch and images file if you want it, if you don't then don't.

As previously reported, I was called out of town prior to the holidays. When this happens, production of renders stops cold, but the writing continues. Truth is, the writing is the easiest part of this whole process for me. It's easy to work in time to write here and there throughout the day, but sitting down and doing the renders is where the bottleneck occurs.

Every artist has their own style. I've developed mine over the last few months which I have to say contrasts some with what my predecessor Fecal was doing. If someone else were doing the render for this game, it would be noticeably different than my own. At the moment, I'm sitting on a lot of written material that just needs art to go with it.

I keep debating on whether or not to take on assistance with the renders to speed up the process of getting this material out. But doing that means bringing in an artist with their own style and subtleties. I'm just curious if players in generally are accepting of a slight shift in style if it means faster development. Just want to know your thoughts.

First and foremost you should be comfortable with what you (and/or your team if present) delivers. And sure, waiting isn't exactly the "most fun experience in the world" and I'm not really huge on the "anticipation is the best!" front, but if something's worth it, I don't mind it. :)
I don't want to advertise him (haven't exchanged a single word with him yet), but for example I've read multiple times gamersglory mentioning that he helps with renders on multiple projects - and I can't say that in these games I recognized huge inconsistencies in art style. So I guess it comes down to communication and trust.
I fully stand by my original statement, though - quality > quantity... ...and you need to feel fine with it.

I have always felt that story comes first. But, there are games for all types of people, and I try out at the very least most of them. A lot of games where the story sucks, or the translations are poor, I eventually just rip the renders out to see that was included then delete the game from my HDD. I am also disappointed many times in devs that rush the ending to try to tie up all the loops and use incredible leaps of faith to come to a conclusion. Just in an effort to put out more content.

All that is to say, if you are looking for something specific, keep as much control of your creation as you feel comfortable with. If that means you keep the rendering or give them up, it is up to you to decide. Speed isn't everything, but consistency is.

Except for a few criticisms, you won't get a big rejection (if the characters don't change so much).
But the important thing is that you are happy with the development. For that you have to find someone with whom you have many coincidences and share some kind of passion about the game, that will make you feel comfortable.

My original thought was that if I could find someone qualified, I might let them just take over the renders for a single character. Let them do one story line while I work on the others. After a trial run, if things were working out, possibly expand to other characters.

I'm not making any hard decisions soon. This is just something I'm starting to seriously mull over.

If you decide to get some rendering help, you can probably find it in the fan art thread. Or perhaps someone like gamersglory (mentioned previously) or PTOLEMY, he is involved with several projects although he isn't on f95.

2019-12-06 News, New Tiers, Progress!

Sorry for the delayed news flash, but I'm back and rocking and rolling.

First off, why the delay in communication?! Thank the "Real Job Blues" for that one. Right before the holiday I got sent out on some business travel, during which I only had access to company networks. And as much as I missed everyone, it seemed unwise to peddle my porn on company networks. Either way, I returned, the holidays hit, and I've spent the last week playing catch up on my renders and communications.

But I'm caught back up. And even though I wasn't able to work on any renders while I was away, much writing occurred in the hotel room and I have scripts for days. So that's always a plus!

Where are we at?
I'm tying up the finishing touches on Amanda's fourth scene for her upcoming chapter. One more after that and she'll be ready for release and work will begin on Cassie's next installment.

As my Daz skill continues to grow, so does my speed. The attached image took about an hour to complete start to finish. From it I'll make a sequence of changes that will take about two minutes each and from it get about fifteen images for the game.

Given this new found speed for render production, I'm throwing out an extremely limited offer with two new tiers.

New Tiers
One of the long term goals is to eventually bring on and replace some of the staff this project lost. I'd like to grow this project back to a size where there are multiple people pushing out content and we are seeing regular frequent updates. To help expedite some of these goals, I'm throwing up an offer to help boost some of the project's revenue and drive towards a scenario where full time development is a reality.

However, I do not want facilitation of these new tiers to take away from production, so until I have a better idea of how much time fulfillment of these tiers takes, I am significantly limiting the number of patron slots. As time goes on and I have a better idea of how long these will take to complete, I may expand and open up additional slots at a future date.

Fecalmancer has offered to produce the wallpapers for the $80 tier, so that won't distract me from content creation at all. Currently this tier is limited to 3 Patrons.

Since the $350 tier is updating and modifying existing sex scenes and being plugged into the pre-built menu, I speculate that fulfilling the obligations of this tier should only require a couple of hours of rendering each month, and once again Fecal has offered to help meet this obligation. This tier is currently limited to 2 Patrons.

I'm very excited about the Sex Scene Actions Offer. Scalability was always one of the benefits of the sex menu system and I always intended to have players determine what additional activities would be added to the menu.

Fact is, there are too many kinks, fetishes and preferences for me to try and cover all of the bases. But with this system in place, players can now dictate what additional options appear during a sexual encounter. I look forward to seeing those menus grow and to hear what people come up with.

GOALS!
Given the ongoing fluidity of the project, I have been hesitant to establish any project goals. However, now that I'm in the pilot seat and have a firm vision for the future, I'm ready to set some benchmarks and see this project grow to it's full potential.
The benchmarks are set based on a cost/plus basis. The base cost I need to live and develop the game full time, plus the cost of any licenses, education or hardware needed to meet the delivery promised at a given milestone.

Take them with a grain of salt. They're far looking and some of them we may never realistically hit. But it's fun having them there as something to possible look forward to one day.
