Well it's uncommon but even irl some girls really look petite despite their age.
I'll be honest if I have too choose I prefer a girl that looks like Elena in DMD (thus "too young") rather than a girl that looks too old (+50 is an absolute no go), even if imho the best type remains something like Cassie in Amana (thus the late teenager look as llhares said).
