Don't worry. It's not like I think you guys have suddenly forgotten how to make an interesting game. It's more like I want to see some fucking new shit and not wait too long until I get that.
That being said, I'm not one of those dicks who while not even being able to support you guys on patreon would run his mouth here, not to mention that there are zero indications that you would ever try to cheat or stall or do any similar shit just for that small amount of money you get on patreon so far.

And now we get a few months of re-released content. The classic "Let's restart the project to milk a few months". You could've finished this iteration and start doing it the "new way" in the next patient. The way the game was before it had some personality to it, you could choose what story to see first and in what order, now we are just gonna have to wait for our favourite bits all over again. Now it's just your run of the mill VN. You did yourselves a diservice with this update.

Oh fuck, that's right. I forgot, we're down a few grand on this project. Not to mention the 65 hour works weeks we put in between this and our real jobs. Nope. I'm pretty sure we're losing here...Oh well. Fortunately we're not going to complain because we enjoy what we're doing and we think in time everyone else will too.

That is one of the sweetest, most complete rebuttals of the classic (misinformed) accusation of "milking". It's an odious charge, made usually by people with no background in creative arts and/or computer projects.
You combined just the right amount of sarcasm while managing to avoid any direct insult or defamatory comment. Would that these "righteous" accusers took as much care.

Some people just don't understand that people have family to take care and have jobs and it is time consuming making games!

Well you definitively misunderstood me, I got how her character is. It's not that difficult to see, as you said.You don't understand Nanami... She only respects men that will "Take" what they want.... If your a wimp with her she will use you as a tool, if you use her she has more respect for you. It's evident in the office when you can say she's Japanese or Threaten the old fart, then in the car if you apologize for "Using" her she says she respects you more. If you didn't see that then all I can say is you need more life experience to draw from

Just click on the link in my signature to our homepage and go to the downloads section. You can still find the alpha v0.9.0 there.
It was the first release of the beta which at this time includes only the introduction and two scenes with Nanami. These scenes set up the story and show the catalyst for the Main character's change in personality and helps to explain why he has gone off the deep end. It is more coherent than the first draft and has a more defined structure.
Our patrons stayed with us through a downtime that lasted several months and we felt we owed them somethin for their patience. A demonstration of commitment if you will.
We got our PC back up and running middle of last month and promised them we would put together as much as we could and start distributing again in July. What v1.0.0 currently contains is all the work we could get done in about two and a half weeks. Though to be fair, a good portion of that was spent redownloading and organizing Daz assets and reinstalling all the needed software on the new PC. There was a lot of parallel work happening.

Hi, first time player. Downloaded the OP's "1.0.0" version. Want to praise and also vent a bit.
Good things to say out of the way first: Models look great, love the variety, LOVE the writing of what's there in 1.0.0. I hope the rest of the game will continue in this vein.
Now the bad part: I entirely get that shit happens in game dev. What I want is communication. If the 1.0.0 is a rebuild, it should be clear in the OP.
I'm not particularly holding it against this dev specifically, because I've seen a drop in apparent dutiful-ness of keeping the opening post fully up to date across the the site. It's really frustrating to have to sift through potentially dozens of posts to figure out what's going on.
I'll download 0.9 and give an updated review at some point.
