Wow, this game was released literally today (11/20) and it was MTLed on the same day.
I think we're getting to the point where there's no need for fan translations anymore if it's that easy to use GPT and get a legible translation out with such speed and ease.
I'm at least glad people are choosing to MTL things quickly, so that I don't need to waste time even starting a translation though. Anyway, looks like a decent game.

Depends. It'd be harder when there's many images needing translation. Also, a fan TL would still be preferable since the MTL still struggles with tenses, context, and pronouns, as easy as they may be to overlook sometimes. But yeah, a Dazed MTL is great enough with quality and fastness of release.

Censored? Nope. Uncensor it and MAYBE it will worth it to try.
My point is that if Dazed can do something in less than a day and with the ease of pressing a few buttons that takes me literal months of work, I don't think I'm needed anymore (or really WANT to translate games if that's the case). It seems that the community is satisfied with this level of translation and of course, the speed of release, so as you said, "great enough".

While it's not as bad as to get a feeling so complicated, some people will not be satisfied with the little errors that a MTL gives, and it's understandable. Some people have different tastes, and it's okay.

Shame to hear about losing interest due to the circumstances, but it really depends on the game. Most of these games are kinda throw away so having Dazed translation is already premium since it's miles ahead of MTL, and this game likely doesn't really NEED a high level translation beyond just image editing, but it's still a great shame and not a real replacement to actual translations.
The answer to that is understanding the combat, each time you attack you spend stamina (The blue bar), but you also switch stance the colored choice in the combat menu. Now the point is to "break" the bar that is underneath the enemies to do high damage.
Once the bar is broken you want to attack with a stance attack, which spends the green bar 50 points is the cost so plan your attacks carefully and then the game is honestly pretty straight forward from that point on.
