Here's the problem with opinions, they aren't fact and you seem to think yours is fact, it isn't.
We don't all share your opinion.
The thing with Ptolemy is he's said from the start he's going to finish the game regardless of the money so that's not his driving force, he has a job for that.
He had a story laid out and now he's making it. The other mahoosive problem with people like you is you think your opinions are important and others should bend to fulfill them. Things don't work that way.
This is a site with many games, comics, VN's and others forms of fap entertainment and not all of them are going to be aimed at you. This obviously isn't.
Things aren't going to change for you. We don't blindly praise his work because we're following along like sheep, we praise it because we like it. We also use the ancient mystical long forgotten art of common sense when we find something we don't like and move on to find something else.
Madness, I know.
No one tears anyone apart for having a different opinion. It's people that expect something changed to suit them.
You can dislike something, that's fine, just don't expect it changed for you.

You aren't the one people are on at, that would be Bambino that's expecting half the game changed to suit his needs to be "worth" his money.
"Constructive criticism" is appreciated by most people. Rudeness, not so much. It's possible to be pleasant and constructive at the same time, instead of outright crapping on someone's work.
Why are you feeding the fire. Stop giving them something to troll. If they are rude, then let them be rude alone. Don't let them drag you with them into the mud. Just don't respond to them. Let them scream into the darkness, alone.
I hate it when people, especially on pirate sites, try to dangle their 5$ in front of me. Like I'm supposed to dance for it.

I've had constructive criticism.
Some of it, I've taken to heart. (telling more of the Chris and Dana background through flashbacks) which is in the works.
Some of it didn't fit what I was trying to tell. (putting hair on Jessica)
Some of it I've dismissed as impractical. (Dana only path)
But that post wasn't constructive criticism, mate.

It would probably piss me off too. Unfortunately, you kinda have a target on your back. Being a Dev on here you are going to get shit on, once in a while.

We know you on here, and we know that your not in it for the money. You don't need to prove yourself to anyone. Do it with your work.

This is his first game, and give him the credit that his renders have improved since the first versions.
The very genre (just a game) doesn`t allow a very deep developement of characters. Unless you want to read a real novel with few pictures on it.
Usually the devs are not professional writers (with some rare exception), in this case just a hobby.
If you can do a better job, you`re welcome. There are more than enough "i`m smart, everyone else is stupid" critics even without this last one talking like some kind of Shakefuckingspear.
Now back to business: When we`re gonna have the light 0.65 version?

I was going to upload this thing tonight, but I just gave up. It is taking too long and I have work in the morning. I have to go to bed. It is 6 GB and my upload speed is atrocious. It has 5 more hours left to upload to Gdrive. Just enough time for some sleep. It should be done by the time I wake up, and I will post a link to it, if no one else has already. I would put the patch version up, but the way it is deployed, isn't the same as it used to be. I tried Mega, but apparently the file is too big.

I think Pepe changes the picture files to a slightly lesser quality, that's what shrinks it so much.
I too, have shockingly bad upload speed which makes me laugh considering how fast my download speed is. I have 75mbs fibre optic and can download a 6 gig game in about 10 minutes but they only saw fit to give us 1.6mbs upload speed.
I tried to upload a video on Youtube once and it took 15 hours to upload a 9 minute video.
I asked how much it would cost for faster upload speed and i'd have to move to a business package that would cost an absolute fortune. The money isn't the problem but for the amount of times i'd upload anything it isn't worth it. I just don't know why there is so much difference between the upload and download speeds but then again i'm not very IT techy.

And to tell him so confidently that he is doing his game the wrong way, as if we all share that guy opinion and we do not want to bring it in order not to offend Ptolemy. No, some of us I would say 85% of us love this game the way it is, sometimes we disagree with the things implemented in this game, but if you cannot say a fine way of what you do not like, then you better keep quiet. I'm in roughly the same boat. My download speed is 100mbs and my upload is 3mbs. Or, should I say, supposed to be 3mbs. I am only pushing about 1mbs. I understand what your saying though. I rarely ever upload anything, so it is just not worth the expense.
