Man, while games such as the Twist have gazzilion characters, sex scenes, regular monthly updates and earn $5600 per month this scammer gets at least $8400+ for slacking. This leads me to conclude:
1. There's no justice
2. Some people are gullible sheep
3. Some people like looking at blurry art angled scenes with no actual sex in a sex game
His patrons don't understand that unless they punish him somehow for his lack of work, he'll keep doing this forever to his old and new patrons. I bet you he would start churning out monthly updates again if his monthly pledges would drop down to $2000-3000 again

i didnt play this game for a year,... i mean its a ok visual novel and all, but theres barely any sex and if you start dads story first, the storyline is downright fucking depressing, to me anyway...if a story on how divorce effects families gets you off i geuss you found your niche but jesus the feels to porn ratio is abysmal, i came to be a disgusting pervert and fap to incest. not get depressed

Hehehe I like this one the most because...
1. he tries so hard to come across as a professional, with his "refusal to compromise", while at the same time breaking release dates for nearly 2 years straight now.
2. and he admits losing motivation until he met an animator.
I wish I lost all motivation while getting $8400+ each month... we should all feel sorry for poor Kyle, life is so hard on him.
I'll be sure to write him a support letter and stamp it with my tears of compassion.

For that amount of money, he could easily hire at least a couple of skilled full time employees from low income countries, release quality content pretty fast, and earn even more money over time. He could continue being lazy as shit himself, and keep his Patreons happy at the same time. Since he's not doing that, and is probably using the money on cocaine and hookers, sooner or later people will catch on, and he'll slowly lose his income (unless the people who suspect he's laundering money is correct)
He's got a golden opportunity, and he's wasting it. He might be living the good life at the moment, but that won't last forever.

One year ago,(fuck, already) when he was still working on the previous update. I was still supporting him (20$ i was giving him).
I remember clearly him saying on discord (i have a good memory
), that after this update (the previous one) there will be no more delays. That he met several peoples that he can trust to help him work faster and that he already bought a new computer to render faster. And that we won't have to wait 3 months before next update.We can see the result today.
I really hope for him that next update will be a blast to play with more than 2 hours (lets say 1 hour if it's really good) of gameplay for each character.
It won't be enough for me to trust him again, but if he delivers regular update i might think about giving a little tip (to begin with). (yeah i'm way too optimistic, but i can't help it)
I contacted Patreon a few months ago asking for a refund because I have evidence he lied but they ignored my e-mail.
Because of that I'll never give larger sums of money to other creators .. now I don't trust Patreon or other creators in case something happens.. great job Patreon!

If I recall his answer was that they were suppose to start working after Part X so wouldn't be surprised if it was just BS.

Just some thoughts before I ignore this thread for another 6 months...
I've always avoided the milking convos because I don't pay him shit and there are better games on here to play that are worth my time, so this just isn't worth getting worked up over. That being said, I think it's clear he just doesn't want to work on/release an update. Ignoring the quality of the Xmas special for a minute, it was a pretty sizeable release. A release that he claims took him 3 weeks. Several months ago he claimed to be almost done with the part x update, so either that was a lie or he stopped working on it. If the reason for the delay is size, he could have cut it in half and released that. People are impatient and angry at the lack of sexual content, but by far the biggest gripe people have is the constant delays and missed deadlines. Releasing an update the size of the xmas special months ago would have gone along way too addressing those concerns. In the same amount of time the update has taken be could have created an update 10x the size of the special release.
Anyway, having demonstrated that he can create a decent amount of content in less than a month, I think the only reasonable conclusion is that he just doesn't want to. So, fuck this guy, go check out Gates Motel, Heavy Five or the games in my sig.

When has he demonstrated that? you don't know at all, and blindly believing this conman is completely unreasonable, so I don't know why you take his word for it. Considering he is using it to extend the deadline, I suspect that he spent way more than 3 weeks on it, and that it was all planned from the beginning to give him yet another excuse. The "accidents" and "delays" that pushed it after the holidays are probably intended to make it seem organic, as opposed to a carefully planned con.
So no, he hasn't demonstrated shit.

Yeah, really grind my gear when i see Gumdrop getting 8k a month by doing jack for a whole year. While someone like PhillyGames, who produced and completed a amazing game call Depraved Awakening, can barely scrape by 2 to 3k a month.

Well. no one is being forced at gunpoint to support anyone on Patreon what so ever.
Also Patreon's come and go over time. Many that support in the later stage of the game, might not have done in the first ones, and so on. Imho, this game is one of the best games on the site here. It doesn't sit well for the crowd that want to instant fap and get to the money shoot right away. But frankly that never been what this game been about either. There is enough games around that use the same models over and over, which more than often not even appear realistic at all for the setting.
No creators on Patreon would likely tell people to not support them anylonger because they reached a certain income a month. Remember, Patreon is not about pay for products or a service, its about support creators. Which range between people sitting around eat food, or body paint or god knows what.
I been a Patreon for this game a few months in the past, then swapped to another game (which I swapped to another again later). I try to spread things around.
If the next (last) installment in this chapter/act will deliver for a nice experience, I don't really care that much if it took a long time, as it would been worth waiting for.

Guys, this thread is basically just circling back to dissing Kyle over and over again. Pouring out your anger here will not make a dent on the number of patrons and pledges he has. You can however, help us fan artists of Dual Family to provide something Kyle failed at by providing names of the clothing assets used in the game.
Some of us actually had to buy render assets online if there are no free options available, all in the name of fan-art. Also, since the Christmas Special is a disappointment, I would like to provide another late Holiday present. It's not much since it's basically half of the entire picture but it is something. It's a teaser preview for my comic fan-art series Chapter 10.
