why did not post this his patreon dropped under 7000 it is now 6610 i dont remember it being this low in long time. if he does not act soon he will just drop this game altogether oh way the game was aleady abandoned.
i think he will start worrying if the money drops under 3000 that is when he either wakes up and start releasing or just say this game was abandoned for long time i just needed the money to get me going in the mean time.

1.) The 1000+ is an increase from what it was before, it seems low because the game had fundamental narrative flaws and the audience picked up on that, since I have been addressing said issues and taking feedback on with the main dev (Uberpie), the game has been growing and feedback has been much more positive. 2.) Most advertisers are just selling a straight up product, not asking for monthly donations to a incomplete product. Thus the rules change. 3.) I threw out 1 to 10 as a hypothetical at best. 4.) People deserve what they work for, produce good work? You deserve good pay, produce shit? You deserve jack shit. (No I am aware this last one is not reality, just my perspective).
Well as a former GD patron (I got out when it started to smell almost a year ago now - right decision 
), I can say that it looks like the patrons slowly but surely are dwindling away from GD. Maybe not as steep enough decline as he deserves, but still a very steady downwards trend the last 6 months. In this pace he will get to 0 in about a year. At some point in this decline, he will start to through some bones, like a short comic (seen that scamming technique before with other scam artists = Impure), just to slow the decline, but then back to words of progress to comfort the "flock".
In some perverted way we should give GD drop credit for how well he has played the scam, using all techniques to suck out max from the market.
It is a good study in both psychology and economics, maximizing the area under the graph (=$) with minimum effort (cost) = profit.

Well, if you look at "early access" games on steam. You see the ones with active devs and who communicate with the players. They usually have good traction with their games, even though it's unfinished product and early access. With early access they are asking for money for a unfinished product upfront and not on a monthly "support" basis. (Doesn't keep their games from getting pirated either though). Maybe you should try get Taffy Tales on steam, diversity in exposure not a bad thing. They do allow other adult games there such as "House Party", so why not. Could end up get more of what you deserve -)

It's not out the question but from what I can tell Steam have been quite vocal about their distaste for adult games...AND most of the adult games I'm told do usually need to be censored. Which is a shame but y'know, it's their policy.

House party have their "explicit" patch linked on the store page under free download. Also, steam not been so vocal about their distaste about adult games. More the likes of EPIC Games been accusing Steam of pushing porn. Although the whole "rape play" bullshit did probably do some damage. If you browse their NSFW stuff, you find a lot of VN's, hentai, and other stuff. I guess it come down to how you present your game more than anything.

I'll look into it. Though if we put it on there it'll probably be after we release at least one of the MEGA patches planned.
