my guess would be typical noobs started asking for releasing date and fail to understand how he still get funded by people, some reply with various meme-ish and sarcastic way and his one true love came back to defend him. isn't this how the 200 pages or so being going on !!!
So, Kyle has just promised that the update is getting released soon and that, once this update is taken care of, the "normal dev cycle" should resume. Gee, it must be Thursday.
Someone knows games like Holiday Island, bastard girls, mythic manor, corruption or dark magic among others of that nature where you have to explore the map and not be clicking on dialogs

Totally agree. I dont know why he kept saying "are you with us or against us" NO! The only reason GD kept saying "coming soon" in March is to keep his subs/patron donation high. That time many people thought it will come soon but reality is he just want his patrons keep donating bcos that time many people are losing patience and his subs are on the decline if im not mistaken. And he did it again posting "coming soon" on june and after that gone silent for about 2-3 weeks and only yesterday he answer two questions and he dont even answer specific questions about music/animation on how the progress/completions. Feels like there is a hole on the guidelines on the "abandon tag" at least when Veqvil didn't release an update he man up and said hes f"ck up and he didn't take the donation if im not mistaken but on GD? He has manpower, Equipment and Money to produce the update and yet 1.5 years still none and somebody says "i need actual proof and evidence" LOL.

I said it, because, even you can be critical towards some aspects of how he operate, and less than ethical behavior. And at same time argue other claims and accusations need proof and evidence, you get just labeled for "defending" him. That's why there is this "you are either with us, or against us attitude". Sorry but the world isn't just black or white, its all these shades in between as well.
He been taking dips every month, but last months seems like claw himself back up again and even gaining. I don't think its returning patreons, more new patreons replacing old ones. The likelihood of them pledge due to find the game on this site should be next to none seeing the exposure he got here. But there is plenty of other sites on the net that host the game, or links to it. He already got enough of the game to garner interest from new players (possible new supporters).
If you take a game such as "D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die" on steam. First chapter, and that is how the game ends. The game won't get completed, no more chapters added. You have no conclusion. Still the game on steam, people still buy it and play it. This with the discussion forum for the game clearly states, that's all she wrote.
End of the day, its the consumers choice where and how they want to spend their money. What great victory does it achieve to put an abandoned tag on this thread? Does his patreons get a brutal wake up call and all leave him and so forth? Will people even stop post about GD and bitch about where is the update? Highly doubtful. If get an abandoned tag is the only way to get one over on GD... man, I hope no serious challenges will face you in life.

If it's mob mentality that's formed, than it's nobody but Gumdrops' fault for it's formation. The constant disinformation, failure to deliver and his own attitude have helped form an 'us vs them' mentality.
You only need to go to Discord to get a vibe of the 'other' mob he's cultivated.
I see the dev is still sucking whatever patrons remain dry. Has there been any change to his reasoning as of late?

How ANYONE can choose to say "Hardworking devs that provide monthly GOOD updates deserve to earn less than Gumdrop, who provides nothing but promises, BUT is good at marketing himself"... What in the royal fuck ???
Yeah thats what I want... hey Perveteer stop giving us non-stop monthly updates of Sisterly Lust which barely earns you 2k, instead halt the game for a year and go promote yourself so you can earn 6k a year.... fuck all of us who have been giving you those 2k that you EARNED by your hard work instead of by brown-nosing and other shady shit.

Difference between a mob, and followers (fanboys/girls whatever). To far in either direction, not good for anything. If disinformation and failure to deliver is grounds to form a mob, then its weird there is any politicians left alive on the planet.
The problem with the "us vs them" mentality is they get blind for facts, and reason. You see this in all walks of society and life else as well though.

Most Politicians are a little more subtle in their failures, they have whole PR teams to cover up their bullshit.
I never said the mentality was good, I merely pointed out the only person Gumdrops can blame for it's formation is himself.
Also citation needed, you can't just dismiss the rabid defense of Gumdrops' 'Followers' while condemning the F95 crowd for the exact same behavior.
